you are one of those people who think they're too good
your game isnt anything special and it's just another copy of the thousands already out there. just because you did the artwork yourself doesn't mean it's going to play any differently from the thousands of clones
if you actually had made a game that was unique and interesting, maybe you would be receiving more support from people on facepunch
as it stands, though, you're just an asshole who refuses to believe his game is anything but perfect
WTF, its far from perfect?, i never said it was, Ok, since this is going no where, tell me what IS unique and interesting in a game?, seriously.
Stop being so self righteous.
And can you please tell me a game thats like mine :O on andriod? (no im seriously interested....)
This thread amuses me, This all telling us that Indie dev's should die... go AAA or go Home...
What the hell are you on about? Indie developers have my respect when they make a truly unique game that stands out from the crowd, brings new mechanics as a test, try new things and make their game stand out with either artstyle brilliance or Musical brilliance. This sort of game I see on the free market every day of the Appstore. It's blocky, the artstyle does not look even remotely new or interesting. Oh, and you never did add a video of the gameplay in your OP, so all we can judge it on is the images we get.
Thanks by the way man.
Yeah i know, i over reacted to people who think there too good. On a side note, it doesnt really matter, unless you guys all released games too?
Excuse me? Since when is there a criteria for criticism? I don't need to make a game to tell the difference between good or bad. In fact, I played my share of Free Ios games, and they looked very similar to yours. Why should I pay 1 dollars for something you made if I can have something free of equal or superior value just a click away?
Granted, a Dollar isn't much, but that doesn't make the game any better. Is the game worth 1 dollars? Probably. Is that a good thing? Probably not.
If you want an example of how similar your game looks to other things, check www.nitrome.com , they're basically pumping out pixel graphic puzzle survival games. And they're all free.

Thanks for that, at least you werent slandering me like everyone else. Yeah true my art style is outdated, and probably needs an update, But i didnt want to do Pixel Art for this game, because to make it HD and work on Tablet aswell as Phone without pixel degradation is more difficult than you think, i wanted to make a Universal App, so hence why the resolution is at 960 x 640, and the graphics are like that.
The reason why Apps are so successful is because, most ppl think that a dollar isnt worth much for a few hours of entertainment, so they all use a micropayment scheme, it lets Indie Developers like us, actually have a chance in the field.
The problem was that, you guys were just sladering me, without giving me any criticism.
Actually after we finished the game, we found nitrome, and our game was kind of similar to one of there games, But i think the physics is different.
On a side note, has Nitrome even released a portable version of there game, as far as i read they are working on it.
EDIT: But, can you find me any games similar to mine on Portable? (like i said im interested.)

Nitrome are currently in the process of porting their game to the Apple store (you can see it on their main page)
I'll try to find a similar game on the Ios store, even though looking through that cluttered piece of shit is like trying to find a needle in a hayball the size of a barn.
This thread amuses me, This all telling us that Indie dev's should die... go AAA or go Home...
Actually, no. This is not telling indie devs that they should "go die". This is telling you that you should improve your behavior a little more if you want to actually advertise successfully. Saying that MW3 is "realistic" is a big no-no on Facepunch, mainly because it just isn't true. MW3 is an arcade shooter. There is nothing realistic about it.
Second of all, the post that started this shitstorm was complete and utter sarcasm. It was your fault for provoking it in the first place. In fact, there was a really good post of criticism which followed afterwards. I'm pretty sure that was a joke as well, but it was criticism, and I doubt the art style would change very much if you implemented it. So not only do you ask for criticism on Facepunch, of all places, you also belittle and start an argument because of a joke post on the forum, which was inevitable. Good going.
Third of all, just because a game is indie doesn't mean we need to have mercy on it. We'll tear the dev and game in half as much as we want, we do the same with AAA titles. As of right now, we can't really criticise on anything because there's barely anything to criticise. All we have is a bunch of pictures, which only accurately judge art style, then there's the dev who's making a total mockery of himself by taking a sarcastic post seriously.
Finally, regarding this quote:
Yeah i know, i over reacted to people who think there too good. On a side note, it doesnt really matter, unless you guys all released games too?
I love how you're bringing up that argument. I'm sure if I made a game with a generic art style and sold it on iOS and acted like you, I'd be treated the same. So would anyone here on FP, for that matter.
You're also asking for criticism, yet people who do criticise you end up being worthless because they haven't made a game on their own? That's not right at all. We are not "slandering" you. We're giving criticisms on your behavior, which has not been professional in any way and, so far, is not pleasant either. You don't sell games if you act like an asshole after a few posts.
In conclusion, this entire thing was, to be completely blunt with you, provoked by you entirely. You could've just moved along, laughed it off and still had a chance to not make you look horrible and maybe get a few customers. I advise maybe apologizing, although what FP does afterwards is up to them.
Look, if you're going to join the forums just to advertise your shitty IOS game, quit being such a dick to everybody.
Wow, this all got blown out of proportion, i dont mean to be a vindictive in any sort of way.
I did take to what im assuming was the not enough balloons sarcasm the wrong, and im sorry for that, everyone makes mistakes.
But this seriously all just blew way out of proportion.
I never meant to set out to offend anyone, like i said, i just cant tell sarcasm on the internet (on in real life for that fact).
But atleast im man enough to admit i was wrong >.>.
It's okay I forgive you.
