we all need to go and play it and the sequel and ape escape!
Oh man Ape Escape. That game was the most excellent PS1 game.
I bought a 2nd hand PS1 and a copy of the first Medievil just recently. So much fun.
Sir Daniel Fortesque, our one-eyed, jawless skeleton knight. He will be back.
I played the 2 some years ago, that was one of the best PS1 games, along with Soul reaver
I remember that I would play this while using Gameshark, and just fuck around. Beat the stained glass demon with only your arm? WHY THE HELL NOT? Unlimited weapon durability? IT'S DRUMSTICK TIME, BITCHES.
I don't know why but I used to be scared of this game when I was little.
The PSP version of this and Wipeout Pure are my first and only PSP games. :unsmith: I still play them to this day.
The PSP version of this and Wipeout Pure are my first and only PSP games. :unsmith: I still play them to this day.
The PSP version was such a let down in my eyes, I was expecting a remake of epic proportions and it just didn't deliver, although I liked the bestiary and armoury in Dan's Crypt, that was about the only change I did like however.
Oh man, Medievil is a part of my first experiences as a gamer... it was, and still is, one of the most awesome games out there. I still have the disc laying around here somewhere and I bought it again on the PSN. My favourite levels are the village, the asylum, that haunted castle and the flying pirate ship. Hail Sir Daniel Fortesque!
This game scared me when I played it. I was just a bit too young. I loved the game though.
I would rather have it dead than playing a casual garbage, sequel.
I fail to see how what he's saying is dumb, I'm partial to agree, eg. If Bobby Koticks got his sweaty, penny stealing hands on it imagine what he'd do. I'd rather it remain a fond memory rather than getting run into the ground.
I didn't play the second. But I DID play the hell out of the first 1. I remember raging endlessly when 1 of those little trolls in the last level stole my magic sword.

Man I remember the demo for this, I always wanted the full game. Might have to hunt a copy down for my PS3.
Kill 8 zombies, call in Calvary kill streak.
Kill 24 zombies, call in a tactical Lightning strike. Hopefully, at least replace Lightning strike with spawning the glass demon.

I loved the pirate captain. He looked badass.
Brb, just gonna have a massive nostalgia attack. Never actually got the chance to play the first game, but the second was pure god-like. I will never forget it..
Oh my god this game makes me vomit of nostalgia.
I played it, it sucked, I went play Minecraft.
I didn't really like the fact that there were guns and stuff like that in the second part. But it was still almost as awesome as the first one. I loved the Whitechapel and the mansion level.
So much nostalgia...
One of my favourite PS1 games by far. :h:
I played it, it sucked, I went play Minecraft.
He came, he trolled, he was swiftly told to get out.
