Dear god the League of legends patcher takes ages, just bought LoL on steam for the champions (because I have too much money and too little time) and now it has to download the steam version

Caitlyn is pretty lackluster.
Her Q could be summed up as a mini Ezreal ult. It deals enough damage to warrant actually using it, and it's pretty useful for farming. It never one hit kills minions, but it gets them low enough to kill with a single auto attack. In team fights, it's pretty good but there's a lot better alternatives for aoe to be honest.
W, her trap, is a pretty meh snare. I guess it provides a bit of CC in big team fights, but it's not really that big of a support. I'd still say it's "useful", just not very.
E is meh. Needs a better slow.
R is cool in that hey I can killsteal you lol. I kid, it deals a good amount of damage, but it's really only good when there's just one guy who managed to survive and you want to finish the job of acing their team.
I like her auto attack range.
I find that unless she's against a squishy in the laning phase, she won't be doing much in terms of harassment. Her early game Qs do shit all against someone like Xin who would normally start with a Doran's Shield. Her laning is pretty average overall.
I never felt that she did a lot in teamfights. She's not that much of an autoattacker (unless you build AS on her which I fail to see why you would, considering she has two spells that scale purely off of AD). You just throw a bunch of Qs into their team and hope they don't go for you, because honestly, she's pretty squishy in the teamfights. I was just lucky that their team liked to eat roasted rats because they would never really focus on me personally, but on Twitch. It's basically Q W autoattack Q W etc.
mmmmmm, she's pretty average. C+ champion.

I'd rather play Tristana than Caitlyn. She can do the whole poop out massive amounts of damage from an obscenely long range like a fucking asshole deal a lot better than Cait.

Went ryze to try out the new hats and holy shit.. My team sucked though.. free xin went afk and malphite fed.
To be honest, out of 4 games I've played, I still haven't seen any good Caitlyn.
She can't really carry. I realized this about halfway through the last part of my game and just started handing out kills to my other teammates.
Like, if I had those items on someone like Corki, that would have been GG right there but nope.

ap eve is so awesome, but only if 3/5 or 4/5 of their team is squishy. if they're tanky, i can't get any kills.

If you want even more, take that $10, buy $15 (I think it's $15) and buy the champion bundle on the store. That's why I have so many heroes. Pretty cheap for so many heroes tbh.

Convenience of having it on my steam account + the 20 champs, skins, extra riot points, tier 3 runes.
the tier 3 runes suck though. just saying. a reduced death timer quintessence? please. the only thing worth using is the greater seal of vitality. also, most champs in the pack are pretty cheap, since all of them came out before riot started introducing the 6.3k pricetag on almost everything. still, if you want to support the company, you get an ok deal.

My laptop's internet is blocked on campus (they caught me torrenting, bah) so while I resolve that, I'm trying to think of alternative options for me. I'm considering installing the program onto a portable hard drive, then plugging that into a school computer and playing off of them. Oddly enough, school computers have ATI Radeon graphics cards, while my laptop has an Integrated Chipset, so it'll run BETTER on school comps. Go figure.
This SHOULD work, right? I can't think of any complications I'm missing...
