Tell me a anti-vlad champion. :/ Is there even any way countering him if I have no chance to lane against him?

Hey lots of mods are playing LoL now Whatever happened to Swebonny? He quit? [editline]6th January 2011[/editline] I'm putting off buying Caitlyn until her ult is buffed (meh) or changed (what should really be done). I mean, it has both a channel AND long travel time. It would be 10000000000000000000x better if the damage was instant after the channel. Plus it would actually make her a sniper and not some bean ball shooter. It looks more like a paintball mag than it does a sniper. Also, I've seen some amazing shots with it where it does like 800 damage for kills. I think it's balanced, honestly.

The ult is really bad because it was designed to fail, and it WILL if they even have a moderately good tank on their team. 1) HERP DERP CHO GATH BLOCK 2) It doesn't follow into bushes and fog of war (Guinsoo said this was intended for some reason, fuck that) 3) It can be fucking DODGED (Jax) and BLOCKED (Panth) 4) Channel time (can be stunned, silenced, or popped and forced to return to full CD (Alpha Strike, Pool)) 5) Slow travel time (Physically blocked by enemy tank, or popped) Hell, Lux is a better sniper than Caitlyn. Caitlyn has no reliable damage output (only q and r), an ult that was once again, designed from the start to fail, and can't 1v1 or assassinate for shit, even though she's [I]supposedly[/I] a carry.

If you get a good opportunity to kill someone and you are confident you are safe then why would you not deal as much damage as possible to ensure your kill? Since the q is ranged anyway you'll still be far away from them whilst they are locked.

If you can catch Vlad before level 9, you can kill him pretty easily. The closer Vlad is to 9 the more comfortable he will become with laning and ganking.
