Vote for Alien Swarm. It's good game but it need update! One campaign isn't enough and game is now forgotten!
TF2 needs to be fixed. It's not very balanced, and it needs to be optimized.
Half Life: Deathmatch.
WE NEED ALIEN SWARM UPDATED! That game had SO much potential of reaching a HUGE audience, especially with it being free! ONE campaign isn't even nearly enough and we could use more weapons or enemies! MAYBE EVEN MORE GAMEMODES!

Alien Swarm and DoD:S are equally matched now... It'd be fucking hilarious if Valve used this thread to decide what to update next.
How about all of them....like spend 1 week and quickly make as many fixes, patches, updates, new content, more sdk tools, and just about anything else they could want to add. Then that would mean they would get it all of the way and focus more on Half-life 2 Episode 3 and Portal 2.
now i have the thread going i can declare my allegiance
dod: source, so much potential. we need player models to be improved on with bodygroups and faces,we need guns to replace the ones we have (for the german rifle man- gewher 43 or kar98k?) and we need more factions (mostly british, soviets, afrika corps and japs). maybe a shader or something that changes textures depending on the map (snow on cloths, mud on cloths, different colour cloths etc)
and i wouldent mind maps that make all players play as planes/tanks
I would say Alien swarm since it has much more potential and stands out from Valve's games due to it being a third person shooter with customization. It has alot of potential and I think it could use a new campaign and new weapons. I am against TF2 having more updates because frankly they are just killing the game by adding more broken weapons, bad hats, and lack of optimization.
i would say l4d series and alien swarm.
tf2 got too much updates already,
cs and dod, i am not a big fan of their styles, so whatever.
alienswarm, it have good potential but .vpk killed it.
someone voted tf2?
facepalm
doesnt that game have ENOUGH? you monsters!!!!
I voted TF2. Not that it needs to be updated with more content, but it's the most badly in need of fixes.
After Portal 2 is released, you'd think Portal would need a major update to match the new art direction of Portal 2. (Herp derp not just texture work)
Whose gonna continue playing Portal when Portal 2 is out?
WE need an update on Episode 3.
WE need an update on Episode 3.
if i put that in the poll, it would derail the thing. not many people would pick other games.
can someone send a link to this poll on spuf? i dont think they have polls

DoD:S, my Favorite Source Game :saddowns:

Agreed. I bought the game when it first came out, was very excited. Now after some years being played, the game has just been abandoned. I mean what happened to the British faction? I am very disappointed they have overlooked a game with so much potential.

Me. I've beat it at least 8 times now but it's still nice to pick up and play every few months.
BFBC2 to sort their glitches out.
Yeah we're sort of sticking to the games that are listed in the poll...
Oh okay then I'd say Counterstrike definitely
DoD:S is probably the Valve game I've played most next to TF2. It's also the first Valve game I bought. Shame it's no longer being updated, because it has a lot of potential.

It does but I hate how the Machine Guns are unstoppable weapons that make progress almost impossible.
None. I want them to work on stuff we are waiting for, like.....oh I don't know.....
EPISODE 3???

Valve has different teams working on each game. That makes it so the TF2 guys can go on releasing their updates like there's no tomorrow without it effecting the development of L4D3. (Just a hypothetical example)
So them updating CSS, Alien Swarm, or DoDS won't effect the development time of Episode 3.
The Source engine in general. It's still practically the same as it was in 2004 except with minor improvements here and there.

It needs heavy updating.

Do you think V for Victory will help at all?

Did you forget the HL2 Mac update that moved everything to the latest Orange Box engine build in mid 2010?
TF2.
It's unoptimized as fuck.

It needs an update, just not a fucking hat update. It's horribly unoptimized and there's glitches fucking everywhere.
