It needs an update, just not a fucking hat update. It's horribly unoptimized and there's glitches fucking everywhere.
Really? Never seen any personally.
i realise that i should have split tf2 into 2 groups- hats'n weapons for tf2 and other updates (Optimisation, another team, a new gamemode etc)
Did you forget the HL2 Mac update that moved everything to the latest Orange Box engine build in mid 2010?
I consider particles and dynamic shadows just an addon to an extremely outdated engine.
TF2 because it needs the optimization. And of course hats.
Day of Defeat Source, and although it's not on the list, Half-Life Source (and Half-Life Deathmatch Source).
Left 4 Dead 2 and Alien Swarm.
TF2, not for more hats or weapons, but for bugs, optimizations, balance, and stupid inconsistency stuff (no barrel holes in the spy revolvers, the demoman holding the sticky launcher like a pistol, stupid weapons, HOUWAR particle effects, confetti particle effect fix, medic not sucking, etc)
Don't forget this guys: The Sourcemods need support for Mac as well as they are currently the only things that haven't got it yet. Look at Missing Information for example, ever since an update Valve released they didn't know that the SourceMods broke so that Gabe's Love Tub lost a lot of motivation with using the Source SDK (I feel sry for them including you, ProZak)
WE NEED AN ALIEN SWARM UPDATE. This game has so much potential but Valve basically packaged it in a TF2 hat achievement and did a "Fire and Forget" strategy which is unlike Valve.
Day of Defeat: Source is in desperate need of an update. It's like Valve created it with the sole purpose of testing out achievements and other new stuff (at the time) then left it to rot and fade away. It is in need of some serious loving.
Team Fortress 2, to remove all the shit about hats and stuff.
Alien Swarm needs more content.
Day of Defeat needs more content.
Team Fortress 2 needs balancing and optimization. (And less hats.)
Left 4 Dead needs... actually I can't remember, ask somebody else.
But we all know Portal is in the need of a major update.

That's Portal 2
Alien Swarm needs more content.

Left 4 Dead needs...More creative Mutations that aren't from the community and custom content back on official dedicated servers.

An Alyx player model never hurt anyone either.

True, but it'd be strange to see like 5 Gordons and 3 Alyxs walking around. And all the little kids who normally just name themselves something REALLY creative like "Gman" or "Gordon Freeman" will use the Gordon model.

Happens in mods all the time.
I haven't played DoD:S or Alien Swarm, but I don't think the Valve games really need updated now. They're good like they are.
The Goldsrc games need love too.
They need to fix a lot of bugs in Blue Shift.
Voted Alien Swarm.
The game was really fun and brought something different to the table for once, but It really REALLY suffers from a lack of maps. If they would just add another campaign or two it would be great.
