Plus if people are like me they've modded the game somewhat to fix some shit, that changes the game's checksum and it needs to match up for everyone so yeah.

Literally 5 minutes ago I just finished conquering spain as france and when the chinese civil war kicked off I crashed. doing shit ahistorical fucks the game up (which kind of kills the point of the game)

Yay, I just conquered my first country, Mexico! I was USA and it took me 8 or so months... I suck :crying:

You forgot to give freedom to Korea (North and South) and Iceland, in your save game. Korea I can understand due to Japanese troops, but why not Iceland?

I find AAR's much more enjoyable when they're a really small/unknown/weak nation being done. But it's probably more easy and fun for the player to do something bigger.

When ever I play as a huge nation I'm unsure just where all my troops are or even how many I have. When playing small and expanding across the world I can easily keep track of my armies. I was considering doing an AAR of Portugal, but cheesedelux started one, so that was gone.

If you have not picked a country already, may I suggest one of the Asian persuasion. One the Chinese warlord states would work, although you will have to act fast not to get raped by Nationalist China or Japan.

Apparently it saves way too much useless info in your saves, making for low speeds, but someone made a savegame cleaner that will make it run good again. Fuck it. I'm going to do Peru again. A Peru 2.0 if you will. Without my cheating at the beginning to get uber-supplies and on normal atleast. Going to avoid the The Allies and begin Peru's glorious campaign for Asia. Perhaps even join the Soviets this time round.

I just got into this game and I don't understand how to attack other countries. Like, I try to declare war on them, but it says that my Threat level needs to be higher. So I try putting spies in the country to raise my threat, but it seems like it would take ages for my Threat to reach the level it needs to so that I can declare war.

Tutorial, play it.
