Or both. [b]Chapter Seven: Sky soldiers over the land of the rising sun[/b] [b]October 1940[/b] The leaders in Moscow have marked out Japan has a new target for the glorious Soviet Union. They have been supplying the Axis countries, are harbouring Italian and German forces and are only a few steps away from joining the Axis themselves. However the majority of the Soviet forces are in Europe and it would take almost a year to get them across the world so the role has fallen upon mighty Peru and it's new airborne army. [img]http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/9229/60370524.jpg[/img] Our plan is to start the 2nd Peruvian Army (Comprised of the 1st and 2nd Peruvian Air Corps, each with around 80,000 soldiers) in Vladivostok, the eastern most Russian airbase. The majority of the Japanese army is in occupied Manchuko and fighting the Nationalist Chinese army over Beijing. Soviet soldiers are stationed on the borders and will hopefully move in to Manchuko upon our declaration of war against the Japs. Reaching one of the main Japanese islands from Vladivostok isn't possible so we'll have to capture Korea and begin the main invasion from there. 1st PAC will parachute into the North Korean port of Hamhung and move up to secure the North Korean border incase the Japanese Army comes to retake Korea. After Hamhung is captured 2nd PAC will stop off there and then parachute into the South Korean port of Pusan and move northwards to capture vital areas in the Korean peninsula. Upon capturing Korea the entire 2nd Peruvian Army will rebase to Pusan. 1st PAC will then assault Hiroshima and 2nd PAC will assault Nagasaki. Upon the capture of these two cities and the surrounding area 1st PAC will advance inland capturing all provinces on the way. 2nd PAC will invade the northern most port on the Japanese mainland - Akita and then move south to attack Tokyo simultaniously with 1st PAC. And without that Japan fell, however a large number of occupied islands still remain in the pacific and the Japanese leaders have fled to them to recoup with the remnants of the Japanese military. Ugh, I'm trying to play as Switzerland right now and it's friggin hard. You're surrounded on three sides by Germany, France, and Italy. The only possible way to expand is to take on Austria but even they put up quite the fight.

Or that Middle East?[/QUOTE] All of South America (minus Bolivia, why I always go for it) has it's independence guaranteed by the US. and the majority of the Middle East has their independence guaranteed by the British. I'd need to wait for the countries to declare war on me first, that way I can invade them and take them over without repercussions from the US / UK. Peru also has it's independence guaranteed by the US, if I were to declare war on say Brazil, and they managed to take over Peru, the US wouldn't do a thing as I declared war first. But war with the Allies should come soon enough, so I can take them then. The only thing I'm worried about is America joining the Allies while I'm in the middle of the war, with barely anything protecting Peru. I've been trying to come up with a plan to take America with my paratroopers and nothing good has cropped yet. There's no way of getting the paratroopers TO America. I'd either have to take over Mexico or Canada (Both relatively easy, Canada only has 5 provinces I'd need to capture to make them surrender) and then invade from them, or do a beach-assault on Houston / Miami and then use their airbases to capture the rest of the country. And trying to hold onto those cities against the whole US Army or from the USMC retaking them from the sea would be hard enough, but I reckon the USAF could take down my transport planes before they drop the paras. Unless of course Peru were to suddenly switch sides and wage a war against it's former ally.

You can get industry from occupied nations in the diplomacy screen by changing it from the co-operative government to something more severe like military control, I would imagine it's the same for puppets, although more exploitative governments cause more dissent.

From how this AAR sounds, it seems the AI nations are easy to defeat. Without any cheats (this means not using manpower cheats or the noneutrality command), how good is the AI? Is it intelligent, good, poor, or stupid? Is it better than Empire: Total War AI? I bought it today, and I'm hoping I didn't waste my money.

The first of these above the manpower is what nation is is talking about. This ensures you're editing the correct nation is all. After you get into your game a bit, the whole area will be clogged up with data on units, provinces etc. so i advise you do this on a clean game
