Couldn't notch just make it so mobs only spawn underground in the day and over the world only at night? Wasn't that how it used to be in the first days of Infdev?

Hey, could someone help me? I updated my graphic drivers on my very old PC and minecraft just goes to a black screen after logging in, without the drivers everything is blurry.. >.<
But yes, my PC is very old and before adding the drivers it couldn't run very well, doesn't stop me though :D

Make sure your OpenGL stuff is up to date. Minecraft uses it to render the graphics. If I recall correctly, some older display drivers didn't include the OpenGL runtimes - might want to check on that if your video card is old.

Its a radeon 9500 so very old, getting a new PC soon so that should be able to run it better, where / how can I check OpenGL stuff?

get the latest drivers for your video card to be up-to-date with opengl as much as you can get with your card

I'll try that, I have a month older one because I can't run other games while that is installed, yeah, My PC does suck that much.

Lol, if I do it on my laptop it says: 89%, 12 minutes remaining. Normally, it takes 4-5 hours before it is empty.
Seems to work for everybody else, it's also the only mod I have at the moment
