4 Sand is a bit expensive for sandstone, maybe it should make 2 Sandstone blocks or something.

1 Sand + 1 Clay = 1 Sandstone could be interesting.

IIRC animals are attracted to the nearest light source in dark places, which is why they tend to gravitate towards player-built structures and/or lava pools.

Why does installing Betterlight make some of my hills vomit green? I deleted my bin folder and reinstalled (definitely did not choose to install Bettergrass) but I still want to gouge my eyes out every time I turn around.

Friendly mobs will only spawn on grass with a light level of 7 or higher. Remove the grass from your house, no more mobs.
