Backup .minecraft and swap it out when you want to play this version.
Make sure to disconnect eth0 and wlan0 or whatever devices you use.

I just created a big crater that goes in all directions underground, Im gonna start building in it.
Now, I understand that most people don't like guns in their Minecraft, but this mod fits in really well with the Minecraft atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend it, though, unless you have some mods to up the challenge and add more mobs.

I think for once I'm going to plan to just build a 4x4 box out of dirt, that way I can't be disappointed unlike every other time when my building it doesn't turn out anything like I thought it would.

I was thinking about just building a small camp like building and a fireplace somewhere in the open field. Just want to see how it would end up.
i need to go to ventlegille sometime, i'm whitelisted but whenever the ip shows up i'm doing something else

Thank you for completely dissuading me of any ideas I'd had involving installing the DoF mod
You should be able to spawn on dirt too now, since sand isn't always at beaches anymore now, and It's annoying to end up in a desert.
