Does anyone know what could be wrong with my pc/minecraft? I have gotten a new pc (self build) and at first minecraft was running like a cow on drugs, but when the new year started it just suddenly started lagging like shit. Now I can't get a frame rate over 12, and it crashes every 15 minutes. Anyone got an idea how to fix this? EDIT: my memory seems to be stuck at 50%, but when minecraft crashes it suddenly is 100% occupied. I also got a little bar on my video card (hardware) that shows how much the videocard is being used, and the bar is always at 1\5 / 1\5, but when it crashes it is 5\5.

Prepare your PC for immense RAM usage. Mine wasn't prepared, temporarily shorted out my power supply. (Though, that was when I had around 10 players + decided to run 5 Minecraft clients and connect them to my server at once)
