Why cant I open this chest? the game crashes when I do, its got items in it like redstone, feathers, just anything that isnt a block

Oh shit! When I destroy one of the chest blocks, items pop out, and when I destroy the other (contains the mystery crash item) the game crashes, and I reload with all the items but I can break the chest and get them again :v:
