Guys, i saw a while back, cakes are actual placeable blocks.
So how exactly do you eat them?

You eat it after you place it slice by slice.
I have an idea for the new trees.
They are half the width and crafting one block gives you 2 planks instead of 4

If you compare the new trees to the realistic counterparts then you would see that they are much thinner to normal trees, thus giving you less planks.

I was able to legitimately get all the redstone and string I need for a dispenser without killing a spider or mining for redstone.
Are there any clean texture packs that are updated besides the one that Saz edited? (it's a little buggy with transparency...

It's probably late but I just noticed the metal blocks now only use one texture for the top, sides and bottom.

Step 1: Take only a few stone picks, and maybe some torches, nothing of great value.
Step 2: Look down and hold mouse 1.
Step 3: with any luck you will mine down to the very bottom layer without lava related deaths or falling into creeper filled caverns
Step 4: mine along, and BATHE IN THE GLORY OF ALL THE REDSTONE YOU CAN IMAGINE!

Then they would just break it.
If you made the lock boxes invincible, then they would exploit it.
This is the best way, unless Notch adds some sort of land/block protection feature.

Good, because i want to make a cake tower filled with dispensers that launch cakes on every floor and redstone activated music blocks that lay the happy birthday song on loop
