There are a lot of birch trees around here (and even more aspen trees, which look pretty similar to birch), too, and I really just think they look ridiculous. It's as if whoever made their texture never had a glance at it in-game. I feel like these Birch trees textures would look better if they weren't basically 1M in diameter, instead of the normal 6" or so, and weren't quote so square-feeling. I normally love Minecraft's big, cubic graphics, but birches just look way too weird in-game in their fat cube form to not be changed into small circles.
And - to the "ending single for multiplayer" comment - do you really feel that way? I feel like I have far too little control over the safety of my work when I'm playing online. Large products evade my priority list and long-term plans seem silly when I'm on multiplayer, which always seems to steer me away from it.

Find a good server with people you can trust, then long term projects are even better because others can see them :buddy:

Damn, redstone really needs wireless communication links. I want to make a signal that makes a sound when a mob falls to the bottom of my trap. But redstone can only go up one step at a time.

A friend of mine sold his secondary Minecraft account for a Unusual (sunbeams) Familiar Fez, and then sold it to a guy appropriately named Fully Loaded, for $400.
Damnit. Minecraft is so slow now, and it crashed!
I had just made a new map, and built my wooden house, and then i was waiting inside of it for daylight, and the entire thing crashed! When I reloaded my map, not only was the roof of my house gone, but so were all my torches! (And it is weird, because I didn't get my wood or torches back) :saddowns:
