Do you ever stop whining? Seriously, it was funny at first but now it is just sad and pathetic. You act like we are gonna fix every damn problem that you have even though some can be remedied on your own with a little exploration. Options -> Multiplayer: There will be an option that says something along the lines of "do not download custom files" or something similar to that. Their you go an easy solution. Already have the existing anime models? Well delete them. A server forces you to auto-dl them? Well then take a bunch of Rebel models, name them to the Anime ones, and replace them. Easy huh? Now please quit your whining because like I said this is just getting sad.

Hmm looks like they finally got the point From the obisidian conflict mod website: [url]http://obsidianconflict.net/[/url] The Hl2 Campaigns will get a big overhaul, not only to fix all the bugs caused by Valve updating HL2 and EP1 to the Orange Box engine, but also to change gameplay to a more enjoyable Co-Op experience. *Lives mode will be enabled, each player will have one life per map, some maps will also have checkpoints to resurrect dead players. This will hopefully result in more cooperation and less rushing even on public servers. *Vehicle spawning will only be allowed in the areas next to the player's spawnpoints so people don't just walk past a vehicle barrier and spawn a new vehicle on the other side instead of doing it the way it was intended. *Some maps will have more NPCs than there was in vanilla HL2, some even dependant on the current playercount to keep things both challenging and fun. *Level changes will be delayed, once a player reaches the end of the map, a countdown will start, once it reaches zero or a specific percentage of players reaches the end of the map, it will change to the next map. This feature will of course work for custom maps as well and the time and percentage can be changed by the server admin or mapper. theres only two things that worry me about this: one is the lives thing, there's certain sections of the game that were just hell to play throught in synergy. Also from a visual standpoint there needs to be an option to turn all of the anime stuff off, you just cant avoid it with any of the servers on there and it severely breaks the imersion of the game. There doesent need to be a feature for you to do so.

If you dont like anime models you know you could always replace them with different models right? Its a pain to do so but it solves the issue of seeing them.

I would stay away from OC, a friend of mine got banned because he pissed one of w0rf0x's friends off, BANNED FROM THE MOD, I'm pretty sure doing that isn't even legal. We all got banned because we went onto their official servers and started dicking around kicking everyone who wasn't part of our group, then I'd assume w0rf0x and Key were notified of this and banned us from the server because we were ruining shit, with a mod ban pending, so then I went and apologized to them and now you guys apparently hate me because I was the one who apologized for my actions when you guys didn't v:v:v

Saying a friend of a friend got banned, isn't very substantial. Post the steam id and he'll probably tell you straight the reason why the ban is in place. I can't stop laughing at how people think the dev's ban people for no reason at'all, like they've nothing better to do.
