I also want to take back what I said before about how it might get repetitive. It's really fun, and as long as you keep going this direction I'll make sure to donate.
Thank you, much appreciated. [img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img]

I made the skeleton more complex. Now there's upper and lower body, arm and leg. Which makes it 12 distinct body parts, excluding armor.
Standard zombies will have 33% chance to spawn with Kevlar and/or Helmet.
Everything is will be fully modable of course.
Everything is will be fully modable of course.
Even the skeleton? I mean, will it be possible to make your own skeleton and use it on modded enemies?
Even the skeleton? I mean, will it be possible to make your own skeleton and use it on modded enemies?
Alright, that was incorrect wording on my part.
Everything except the skeleton and animations will be modable (I tried to find a way to allow animation import I really did, but unless I somehow get spare 5000$ to buy Unity Pro, I won't be able to do it.)
I will solve those two issues by creating several different skeleton presets (Humanoid, Quadroped, Arachnid etc) with their own animation presets (Humanoid skeleton can have Zombie animations or Soldier animations etc) and I'll try to cover as many different enemy types as possible that way.
You're a genius.

The correct term is game designer. :eng101:
Hey Jack how have you managed to have several actions for your model in blender ? When I create a new one it justs rename the old one.:suicide:
;
EDIT: So I think I found out. They just exists and you can switch between them to edit them.
Welp, I had my first "My Fabulous End of the World"-related nightmare.
I think that officially makes your game creepy and awesome :v:
The progress is going forward, slowly but surely. I plan on being done with Zombie texturing today, I'm abandoning the old pixelelated style for the favor of more modern cel-shaded style.
Think, darker version of Jet Set Radio Future, graphically.

But really, im adding a tutorial for weapons, from a rainbow shooting AR to a LaserChainGun :v:
Eeshton offered me his help with 3D modeling so we're going to work together with this project.
http://myfabulousend.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Modding_Tutorials I made two tutorials for those who are somehow clueless on how to make weapons.

You should probably also mention that you could change the bullet speed by editing the XML file for the bullet.
I might add a tutorial to edit weapons, but it wouldn't be anything advanced.
I suggest not writing too much until the next version is released (not this week either) since things wil change quite a bit.
That was mostly why I was thinking about not to writing it, due to the fact that the weapons may stop being 8-bit.
Right now I'm remaking the Zombie model again, this time is the final hopefully.
Decided to up the polycount on them, making them more detailed. It's probably going to go up from 50 to 500.

Exactly.

The wiki has a Community Suggestions section where you can leave your suggestions and ideas, and an unfinished Developer To-Do List where I will write down my to-do list.
New new new Zombie model, I swear this is the last time I'm ever going to re-make this again...

I was really excited that the update would be done :(

I'm sorry. I am remaking all graphics right now and things like that take lots of time, which I don't have too much of.
I'd love to help with sound! (Music, sfx n' shit)
I'd love to help with sound! (Music, sfx n' shit)
Dropped you a PM.
Will the sound format be any improved? I could make a small tutorial on how to edit sounds from for example CS:S to the current sound format used now.

Most likely not, all the sounds are going to use .wav with possible exception for music.
I added the page, it seems to be unsorted.
fuck yes cel shading
Cel is short for "celluloid" that animators used in ancient time to achieve that effect, not a basic biological unit.

Wiki is a huge unsorted mess right now, I don't want to spend too much time on it so I plan slowly getting it all sorted out eventually.

Google searches that people use to get to my website, I thought it was a bit funny.
There is something exciting about following game developement, I have played the game 20 seconds because I couldnt do anything due to the ultra high sensitivity it gave me and still I am looking forward for newer versions.

I feel the same way about Dwarf Fortress, I don't play it much but god I love seeing Toady make new awesome features every now and then.
[editline]26th November 2011[/editline]
and I apologize for the sensitivity issue...again.
Is week 4 the latest build?
Is week 4 the latest build?
Yes, I'll stop naming them after weeks and start assigning them a version number instead, since I am no longer able to release a build every week.
