I didn't like the first one much mainly because it was so fucking broken, and I never played CS because I heard it was even worse, but I'm sure this one will be a huge improvement and I'm definitely going to give it a try.

Well, CoP has only three main areas, but they're expected to be twice the size of the Swamp level and most likely filled to the brim with content.

Just like in almost every other FPS to come out in recent memory, save for a few "realistic" shooters like ARMA and Operation Flashpoint. /sarcasm

Actually, you do see the bullets being ejected when you fire. But for some strange reason GSC choose to use sprites quickly moving across the screen instead of actual modeled bullet casings.
It's because of the visual effect. Dev's feel like they can't catch the power of the gun without some visual aid.
Mighty sound effects would be fine for me.
Bad Company did this right.

Mh, I love Stalker SoC because you were able to explore buildings and all kinds of shit in a huge and interesting environment. I can't wait for this game. If it's like Stalker SoC then I'll definitely buy it.

They say new Stalker is leaning more on roleplaying with different choices and all that.

Hm, around 3:30 they were talking about a multiple choice thing.
I hope the blowouts are better than mod ones, I don't want to just run into a designated safe zone and just stand there for 5 minutes.
Mmm, it looks great so far.
Couple things I noticed in that video:
-Sound/enemy awareness meters are back, they're those 2 bars around the edge of the minimap
-Stalkers care about you putting your gun away again (In Clear Sky, they didn't, you would just autohide your weapon when talking).
New shotgun named, the "Eliminator"
