Crysis fucking sucked in terms of optimization and if you were able to run it, the gameplay was an utter disappointment as well. It deserved the 3 it got and GTAIV deserved the 5.
This game is pretty decent, got 7.5 on IGN.

I'd just wait the minute until my character dies horribly, and then use a trainer to skip to every new puzzle to see it die in a new way.

I don't know about you, but all I saw was some guy get up from a chair, look like he was having a minor seizure, look in a mirror, mess with a lock, and then stick his arm in a toilet bowl.
And X-play gave it a reasonable 2. I mean, the combat is bad, and the game rewards you for losing. You're not gonna get anywhere failing to get that reverse bear trap off, but it will be entertaining to watch some guy get his jaw get ripped off.
P.S. Which is pretty much the whole franchise.

A much better Saw game would be one where you could create your own traps. But of course, it would be so detailed it would only be on PC, so it would never happen.

It's pretty stupid, but in the real game there's explosives that are set to detonate unless you do it within a certain amount of time.
