People play the COD series because, COD 1 was great, for that time. And the games get better, people want more. Same thing with Halo, Halo 1 was great, people want more.

Exactly, sequels to games are better when you've played the previous games, it's sort of like watching The Two Towers and saying, "WTF is this shit."
They shouldve taken more time instead of just spewing it out, they [b]could've and should've[/b] done much more but instead they got it out for the fanboys and it sucked compared to one, but bungie is just milking the cashcow that is halo, instead of taking another 6months to work on the singleplayer and do it right. They knew with ODST that the fanboys would buy it, so it was priced at 60$, when it should be 30$ at most. I still enjoy COD, they do new things with the multiplayer instead of just new maps and guns.
I fear for FPS Single-Player, I really do.

Treyarch is the company that dishes out shit games that have a COD title. This is the real thing, IW is making it.
Sure, the generic consoletard (I have to admit, most of them are pretty retarded, but I'm not one of them) will eat this up and run around school calling it "COD6" sorta like the fish. Probably think he's super cool and smart because he has memorized all of the guns from MW2, and thus knows all guns in existence. Most games that are hyped up Like Modern Warfare, Halo, and Gears of War actually turn out to be good. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about games like Spore and Spider-Man 3.

Weapons can't be overpowered in CoD.
Since the damage difference in the game is really low.

From counting on that mw2 website, there's 38 confirmed including launchers(rocket launchers, grenade launchers, etc.) but there are at least 2 more launchers (one most likely being the rpg) and I haven't counted thrown weapons, and weapon attachments that are weapons like the mounted shotgun and grenade launcher.
