The problem with no dedicated servers is that they aren't gonna be worldwide if IW hosts them, they can't handle the entire planet. Also listen servers are the laggiest piece of shits ever invented, only fun when with friends.

Signed the petition, still going to buy the game anyway though, for the single player, and severely lacking but still fun multiplayer. I honestly think they'll patch it though. They probably got the picture that we hate this decision hours after they announced it.

I would have bought the game, but now, it's pretty obvious what I'm going to do. Borrow it from a friend.

I've cancelled my pre-order. Was really only getting it to play with friends but scince they're not playing it without dedicated servers and I was only interested in singleplayer, I can wait a few months for it to drop in price.

Obviously compared to console sales it is a drop in the ocean, but the permanent reputation IW will gain from PC Gamers, Gaming Press and so on will probably damage sales. Not only is it bad for PR, but it is also bad profit wise in the long run. Look at EA, they keep shafting their customers and they have a bad rep. What about games like Spore for example, do you think Will Wright will have the same reputation he did before Spore came out? No, that's kind of my point.

Yes, for the petition to make a big difference they definitely need more, but 60000 aren't few anyways, considering that it was started very recently.

But sure, factor in nearly 50 euros and £40+ in the UK and if people stop buying the game it is going to hurt IW one way or another.

699kr in Sweden in certian shops. Nearly 70$ there. Though some shops also have 60$
