Well I just got a load of money and I have nothing much else to spend it on so I bought MW2 from steam.
Let's hope it's good.
Personally I'm not bothered at all about mowing down civilians, they're just a bunch of pixels just like everything else in a game (it's not like real people die when we kill civilians in a game).

The only thing I dislike is the idle animations. If I'm trying to hide in the grass, I don't want to be checking my vest every 5 seconds while violently swinging my head side to side.

Honestly, I think I'm gonna buy borderlands over this game. That was completely contrary from my original intentions.
You know, something I was just thinking about; why don't they just start a new series every now and then rather than do sequel after fucking sequel? 4 or 5 is max for a series till its milked dry imo. Just make a new one with a different name different setting and angle.

They do sequel after fucking sequel because that's a way to get money from a returning fanbase. That, and just about all the original ideas for any movie and game are already taken. So they just either do remakes or sequels.
I seriously hope IW reverse their silly little decision to remove dedicated servers, I just watched the videos in the OP post and damn they look good. I was going to buy it before but unless this is changed they just lost some more money. Have you guys seen the boycotting petition? Last time I checked it was around 160,000 signs. At $60 a piece they just lost almost ten million dollars. What idiots!
They say nothing about not buying the game in the petition, it's just a plea for the dedis.

True, that was indeed an assumption. But considering a very large part of the game is multilayer, which can only be played properly from buying the game I would imagine a lot of those signatures will be people not buying the game, and instead just pirating it for the single player.
IW is not losing much. Consoles will sell so well they would be fine without releasing pc version at all.

10mil is the potentional loss only. I bet only half of the petition signers decide not to buy it after the announcement. But still if they don't add dedis, they don't. We can't do much more than baaw.
