Also wondering: Do you ever get to change the form of your armor? I've seen some people with slightly different pieces but I can still recognize the main armor.

I can understand why people hate SMG Recons, but sniper Recons are the most useful thing ever if you've got someone else tanking a boss while you take hard hitting potshots at it.

Pretty much this. To the people saying not to be Recon, is there a reason for this specifically? I'm Assault and my brother is going to be playing with me (probably) and I need a good class for him. I don't know if he'll want to be Medic or not, is Robotix fun?

But then again it can just as well be done with a turret.

Fortunately Recons have the damage boosting rally that gives them 1000 damage per shot.

I play Snipercon and i do 1250 damage without any boosts. :D Love my [dddddd] Ballista.

Are all the damn missions just attacking one of the same 5 mining facilities all over forever?

You unlock commonwealth missions at level 12, but yeah they're the same 5 facilities until then. If you're level 10 then do some merc battles, it's a lot easier to level up and a lot more fun.

All of those missions are until you get to Double Agent, then it's a mix of PvP and PvE.

Just did a mercenary mission, it was pvp and I got my ass raped by everyone.

You can play as much as you like, you just don't get XP over lvl 15.

Once I get my robotics over level 32 I'm going to grind my medic to level 30.

Do you ever get any new stuff? Like higher levels unlocks new types of weapons, because right now it seems like every class has 2 ranged weapons, 1 melee weapon and 3 special off-hand weapons.

Each currency has its own weapon versions. Credits has the basic stuff, Conquest points buy the highest stuff and Merc tokens buy the better than average things,

alright so i'm downloading the trial and i might play later today, and whenever i reach level 15 i might as well start a new character with a new class to get the feel of what the other classes are like.
