Global Agenda - "Fuck storylines we have JETPACKS"

I applied to DeepPurple. My IGN is Kapture.
And now I am in the agency.
Stay on, I'll fix it in a sec.
My general problem with PvP:

hurf durf look at me ima sniper and i'll sit here whilst the enemies rape everyone on the point with turrets and not fight in the point because ima useless piece of shit. Look! See that beacon? To the right. Yeah he never shot THAT. No I had to shoot that shit when I re-spawned.
Hit lvl 28. Merc is getting relatively boring.
The problem isn't snipercons, it's not bombercons, it's not meleecons, IT'S THE CLASS!
Remove the entire recon class I tell you and people will have to learn how to play.
No offense Requiem.

Fuck you fucking fucker fuck fuck.
:(
It's the bad recons who don't play the class properly. Recons are supposed to harass and distract the enemy. Removing the class won't fix it, you'd get even more retarded medics, robos and assaults if you removed the recon as a playable class.

:colbert:
Oh yeah, and the problem with getting shit teams.. It has something to do with how many stars you got, but only if it's 5 stars. People who won so many rounds and got many stars early on usually get shitty teams. Why? Because the matchmaker revere people with 5 stars as gaming gods that can carry the whole team. It's widely criticized on the GA forums.
I've done one or 2 PvP matches and thought "fuck it". This is exactly the kind of thing I hate in every game; grossly unbalanced teams. The match is already decided by some shitty roll of the dice before it began. Seriously, why should I join when anything I'll do won't matter if the match-maker did some crappy job?
The day I win 2 Merc games in a row is the day I stop playing Merc to keep my luck.

No offense taken. The problem is not the class, the problems is people that play it. As far as i have seen, at least 80% of Recons have no idea how to team play it.

I've been winning like 50-60% of all my matches lately, and I've been playing Merc only last 15 levels or so.
Love getting discounts for my 4 Star rating ^^

As I stated, watch out for 5 star ratings when you get them. They make you get shitty teams.

Shit, maybe I should stop doing so well. :ohdear:

Wait, wouldn't it make more sense if people of equal combat value were stuck together? Like, 4-5 stars with 4-5 stars, 2-3 stars with 2-3 stars.
I guess it would, but the game says "Ohh look, a 5 star. We have a bunch of low-ranked players on somewhat the same level. Maybe they need a good player"
I don't know. It really would make more sense, but apparently that's not how the matchmaker works.
Dunno if I might play much today, only if I get 3 people to do some PvE farming. High/Max Sec.

Recons are saboteurs not cappers. Just like Requiem said, 80% of recon players don't even realise this and pot shot everyone.

I'll join ya. Ingame name please.
I think my ingame name has been shown all over the thread the latest 5-7 pages or so.
On my robo I won like 70% of the matches, on my medic I win 40-50% of the matches, strange.
Fuck you Jiggu where you been all day, we need(ed) you for PvE.
Just a little thing for all Recons here.
Suicide Recon Mini-Guide
A little Recon Sub-Class PvP guide.
Sniper:
As a Sniper you can deal a great amount of damage, 2k and upwards, in a matter of one second (2 shots). Whilst you can just stand on a high point and "raep n00bz" all over the map, that won't save you from getting raped by other Recons and it won't help your team (and most important thing of all, you won't get Obj. Point and thus won't get as much XP as you could get, helping your team). What a good Sniper should do is to:
1. Remove Sentry Nests
Since you have superior range to any of the turrets, you can destroy they very easily from afar, thus helping your team getting past them.
Remember that if you get out-repaired you should take out Power Stations first.
2. Kill Medics!
Medics are pain in the ass. They won't ever heal you and they will stop you from killing those Robos that are trying to set up a Sentry Nest. If you see a Medic following an Assault you should try to take out the Medic. Even thou you shouldn't focus on them, (remember that Robos and other Recons are your Nemesis) you could ease it for the team by killing especially good one.
3. I see you, bastard.
Recons. They are not your friends. Use Visual Scanner to find that Recon stalking your fellow Robo and put a hole in his head.
Equipment:
1. Ghost Sword. You won't be using it often except when other Recon will try to slice you up, and for that sole reason you DON'T want Double Daggers, since they doesn't return damage.
2. Ballista. While Scorpia is pretty good against those Assaults that constantly getting buffed by Medics, you want Ballista for it's universality.
3. Stealth of your choice. Spring will help you escape faster and Spring will help you to get to those sniping places easier, your choice.
At later levels you would probably want to get a Tracking System instead of Stealth.
4. I often see people, "Why would you want Manual Jetpack? It's BS." As a Recon you want Manual Jetpack for one reason only. When you're using Biotics (and you're never NOT using them) and Stealth, jumping with it doesn't activate your jetpack and doesn't break your stealth.
5. Biotics. If you don't have Biotics you're not a Recon, this one will help you to gt to your target faster, run away if you get spotted, and it's generaly awesome off-hand.
6.Visual Scanner. As i said before you want to a pain in the ass for your fellow Recon, and it also will give you +10% ranged damage, i personally use this one in EVERY Recon build. I just hate bad Recons as much as everyone else do.
7.I'd suggest taking Ranged Stim here. It doesn't stack with Visual Scanner but it does replace it and you will get nice 25% damage bonus, thus helping you out-damage Robos that are trying to save their Turrets.
8.Sniper should always prefer Boost to Shatter Bomb, since it gives him and his team, huge bonus to ranged damage.
9.Since [dddddd] Ballista will be eating your power like a cake (and you want [dddddd] one) you would want to get a power refil consumable, it will allow you to pour more damage since you can fire more shots without reloading.(This is for the next patch)
Skills:
Ofcorse you want as much of your skill points in Marksmanship. It could help you with Biotics and Stims if you take cooldown perk from Infiltration branch but otherwise you want all your points in Marksman.
Personally i wouldn't prefer playing as Sniper in PvP, since a proper Recon can do so much more that just killing stuff.
tl;dr - If you chosed Recon as you main class, chose again.
[editline]02:42PM[/editline]
I'll do Proper Recon build next time.
I've been doing stuff IRL for once. Also Requiem, I kill recons like I slice butter when they're in stealth, it doesn't save them very often >: )

Just like i said before at least 80% of all Recon are quadruple amputee retards with downs syndrome.

The funniest recons are the ones that run in, try to kill me (a medic) and then cloak away... poisoned. Thus, they're fully visible and are all like "WTF HAX" when I hunt them down.

Quadriplegic.
I remember yesterday I set up a rocket nest in a scramble match. I got 12 or so kills within a minute. Was awesome. We still lost though.

Rocket turrets are stupidly OP. They track too quickly; You're supposed to be able to dodge the rockets if you pay attention.

It's easy as hell to dodge them.
It's easy as hell to dodge them.
As a recon with biotics, you say?
As a recon with biotics, you say?
^^
I can dodge missiles, not always but it can be done if you're trying well enough and got open terrain.
