So, I see this game is $30 now on the Steam Store. Is it worth it? I played the trial a long time ago and thought it was fun. Just not enough for the sub. Any opinions?
Well, now that there's no sub and with sandstorm I'd say the game is worth the 30$. I personally like it alot.

95% of my games with my medic I'm top 1 on the scoreboard with 0 deaths, so it's not something that special. I just run around throwing healing grenades spamming healing wave and beaming everyone I see.

So, I was doing some PvP on my robotics today, and I noticed a significantly higher amount of XP for win or lose conditions. 2.3-2.7K XP per round. I was pretty surprised. Then I went onto my level twenty-two medic, and found that I got significantly less amounts (800-1.5K XP per round). I figured this was because my robotics is level forty and my medic is twenty-two, so there's a difference. But I guess they upped the XP amounts for PvP? Pretty awesome, if you ask me.
Bought this last night and used one of the codes posted previously. Glad I did. I find it really fun.

Hmm, I'm on the fence about this, I played through the demo as three classes, Robotics, Recon and Assault, and I actually quite enjoyed it. However, I don't know how fun the game is past that point, as it doesn't seem to give you a honest look at the game, as most is locked off and you're stuck with really crappy weapons and items for different classes. Whenever I played the Mercenaries mode I never really felt that I was really able to do much, per se, I just felt that the weapons and abilities were all really lackluster and even got killed frequently, both by mobs and players.
Played a whole bunch when it first came out, but lost interest once I got into the 20-30 grind. Picked it back up again when I found out a few of my APB buds play it as well. Gotta say, I didn't know how much I missed it. Re-specced today from full Explosive to full Tank since I got tired of being a glass cannon. I admit, I had my doubts at first (was worried about being an offensively useless damage-sponge like WoW warriors), but this put my mind at ease. Just took this screenshot about ten minutes ago. [img]http://filesmelt.com/dl/THETANKTHATWOULDNOTDIE.jpg[/img] I just sat on that cart grabbing health drops the entire time; rode it right to the end. The Lockdown Express has no brakes. Turns out I did 2nd for damage too, though it's not as obvious. Too bad I got stonewalled the next round - other team had no less than five Robos. :wtc:

Anything but Recons. Join an Agency that's active and not dead quiet.
I capped off at the demo yesterday. Game seems to be on sale still so I plan on buying this today. I'm playing a Recon due to my three friends being the other three classes. Though I'm dissapointed I'm adding to the recon's overpopulation.
Anyone looking to buy the game, I've still got five coupon codes for 15% off. Just PM me if you need one. Also, for agencies, typically if it's an AvA agency, they're looking for medics and assaults. Whenever I assemble a strike force, that's the first thing I go for. Two robotics after that, and generally one or no recons. It's unfortunate, but true. If you're non-AvA, you're golden with just about any other class.
I'm a little bit lost, I've killed the warlord so I'm out of quests in the desert I'm a level 17 robotics and I have no clue where to go from here

Go back to Dome City and run some PvE or PvP missions. Best suggestion is to find an agency to run them with. Participate in AvA, as well. It's a blast.
I have the the the game now. Time to get one XP point to get to level 13. :P
Decided to buy the game the other day since the trial got me hooked, username is DasGankster. It would be nice to see a facepunch alliance one day and dominate the AvA. Also, for anyone that's lost after doing all of the quests. SO far GA only has one zone to do questing in. once you do all of those, that's it till they add more. the best you can do to level up is PvP or PvE instances as far as I've seen.
