Global Agenda - "Fuck storylines we have JETPACKS"

Nice, they lowered the price of Global agenda to 25€ today. I'll be sure to get it soon. I had a trial account, can I use that or do I have to make a brand new one?
You can upgrade your trial account to a paid account.

Is that possible and still having the game on steam?
[editline]07:24PM[/editline]
Meaning that I do not have to upgrade via their own store or something.

Yes.
I've only just sort of heard this game, and after careful consideration, I was weary.
Then I saw the trailer and saw the melee weapons.
Trial downloading.

I don't know if I'm supposed to be happy because there is a new player in GA or sad because there is one more Recon in GA.
Where can one get the Happy Bag flair?
The bag flair are , to my knowledge, like the community weapons in Team Fortress 2, I guess the people that got them helped a lot on the forums and/or organized in game events.

I play Recon... I use the SMG though.
Recons are dumb
JUST SAYIN'

Oh and FYI, if someone wants to do Double Agent farming with me just PM me, I'm pretty sure people like a level 40 assault.
So I recently reinstalled this game again after being utterly dissapointed in it when it was released (pretty damn boring).
I'm pleasantly surprised, it's improved quite a bit.
I want to play Recon because they are the most proficient with melee weapons right? (Haven't researched AT ALL)

They are, they're also the most useless class in-game.
[editline]10:24PM[/editline]
You're going to have lots of fun with a Recon but you're not oing to be welcome in teams (unless you're really good, 80% of all Recons aren't).
Just please, don't try to melee anything in PvE.
Alright, so Melee for pvp and guns for pve?
Alright, so Melee for pvp and guns for pve?
Melee/SMG for PvP, Sniper for PvE, i've played long time as Recon, if you have any questions feel free to ask. My in-game name is Kiberkiller.

I'm still downloading the trial content (And if I like it then my wonderful friend Turtle-head will buy me it :v:)
I'll add you to steam :)
Does anyone have any tips for Robo's?
Some really basic stuff, I know how to put down the shield and turret, and that you can use the repair tool to get your turret up faster.
Yo Jack, I still think we should rename our Agency something a bit...more cooler than "DeepPurple".
I mean, Deep Purple are a great band but for an agency? noty

I only play PvP on my robo. I usually only use rocket turret + power station + medical station.
I love it because even if someone does get behind my turret, they can't kill me or my stuff because of the stations.
GA is on 90%...

Don't play Recon. Don't do it.
Soloing is probably the most irritating thing in the game. That and maintenance drones.
Well, I'm about to head off to bed because maintaining a full schedule with multiple APs and all high level classes (as they didn't offer APs), no lunch, and then running cross country after have taken a serious toll on my body.
However, with robotics, I've found that the best strategy for PVP is to pack a hornet, a PT, and a med crate, then a weapon of choice (preferably the Harken or Rumbleblaster). This is probably the best setup for control and payload, but with breach it's a bit different. You can mix and match the hornet for another station, like power or sensor, and the PT can be changed to a RT, or an AC. I keep a PT because it's quick to go up, and my mods give it a really quick recharge time. On defense, pack a RT if you plan on assaulting the point from afar, outside of the "danger pit" (read: the fucking point). The hornet comes in handy in case an assault attacks your nest, and then the med crate comes with you for natural reasons.
For PVE, pack a rumbleblaster, PT, med crate and a wall. The wall blocks shit and allows you to put the PT closer to the enemy, and it goes up faster. Generally speaking, my PT goes up and clears the room before a teammate's RT is even up. AC probably sounds nice to bring, but note the -35% damage nerf for mechanical targets. It's a PVE no-no.
Tactics-wise, just help clear points in PVP, and use the hornet to bide time while you stand on a point, or to assist in clearing out enemies from your nest. I never play demo, but basically you just travel with the robutt and heal the fuck out of it.
Oh, and for AVA, just be a tetra-bacon carrier. Basically, you move at the speed of fucking light and only need to jetpack around for the entire match. It's fun.
These are my half-assed robotics tips, written after I finished twenty pages of A.P. U.S. and A.P. Bio work. Basically, I'm asleep. Sweet dreams, GA thread.

also, please don't add another recon to the generally retarded global agenda populous
go medic and help raise the population, they're a very small fraction in comparison to the other classes
Ok. I'm gonna mess around in this game for a bit, figure out what class I'll be best at and/or which one I enjoy most. I'll be back later asking for tips on how to not suck dick at that class.
There's an FP agency, right? DeepPurple or something?

Right, you're welcome to apply.
The fact that I'm an officer in the agency lets my vote count as atleast 2.

Why do you always question me :(
I'm having fun as a recon, i'm going for the sniper-specialization or whatever. Having a blast, think i'll get this game.

Oh fair enough.
I'm thinking about possibly buying this. Is the subscription fee really worth it? I mean, I'd much rather play through the game without having to pay a subscription fee, but if there's a huge difference when you pay for it, then I guess I'll have to. Basically I'm asking how much you actually get from paying.
