thinking of getting this game since it's $20.99 on Steam right now.
Jack Trades is defending this game really blindly. It ain't as good as he makes it out to be but it's not bad either. Could do with alot of improvements though. Also, stop getting so pissy over people disliking this game, Jack.

GA lacks in variety unlike other MMOs.

Difference being GA is more tolerable because you have more control over what happens. Global Agenda isn't even an MMO. It's a third person shooter.

PvP cannot be "grind" by definition.
Actually it is. It's the same typical objectives while there is always a set tactic on defending it properly which nobody does not to mention the community is mentally challenged, not knowing when to stand on a point and when to not stand on it is too much apparently. Game was fun for awhile but later on people just grew dumber and dumber so it was no point in PvPing, PvE was really tedious and -that- was the true definition of grind really. Combat system is excellent though, I really like MMOs which have this type of combat, Planetside and Global Agenda did these well however PS will always remain my favourite MMO. :love:
I never said PvE wasn't grindy (well except Raids and DA, they're fun) and true Merc people are kind of stupid (doesn't make Merc that bad thou, unless you top the scores and your team still lose all the time), that's why i play AvA.
At least there're interesting quests in other MMOs. I'm bored of this game already.

Once they decide on an idea, they can fully flesh it out instead of combining two things rather poorly. Honestly, cut out all the mmo stuff and youd have a solid third person shooter.

WELL, some are. but 70% of the time oyu just have to yell at them to get on the point, and they realize that on point = no cap for other team.
Global Agenda needs more than just Special Ops and PvP. It get's boring. I like to do some quests, then maybe have a match of PvP.

Going by the definition of MMO by all of you, CoD is an MMO, Farmville is an MMO, and Gary's Mod is an MMO. Sure they all have a bunch of players but that doesn't make it an MMO. The only time leveling takes forever is after 30 when one level is 24,000+ Exp

Sorry, I played back when we didn't have boosts nor do I ever wish to buy one because I don't want to shell out 25$ for something that lame. Might aswell deem Hi-Rez as korean MMO devs.

I've been with Global Agenda since beta, and I have to say, it's grown significantly. But that doesn't make it the best game ever. I enjoy it, sure, but I don't love it unconditionally. It's an on-off affair. Currently, it's growing, and I'll give it that, but, it hasn't grown enough to be a phenomenal game. However, I personally would like to see some new PvP options. The regular Merc is getting benign, and I'm not active enough for AvA.
