So does this game have Australian servers yet or at least a server that won't give me 300+ ping constantly?
I play from Australia and I have only noticed minor lag problems, like when trying to grab a ledge (who does that anyway? :v:)
Trust me,you ain't seen nothing. Snipercons are easy as hell to dodge by using my favorite technique called "Juking". Works pretty much like Scouts double jump. You switch direction in the air, left-right-left-right. Add up some lag on top of it and no sniper can hit you while you close up on him.
Robos are difficult thou, Med Stations completely negates your poison and Robo can easily outheal your damage on his deployables. There is one viable 1v1 strategy I've found thou. If Robo has 3 deployables out (often Med Crate, Power Station and a Turret) startdamaging on of them and as soon as he starts healing it, switch to another one. If you manage to focus down the medcrate taking down the Robo is a piece of cake.
Most robos I came across had either the power station or medcrate, probably because they used the shield as well, so I found it easy to just run in and melee their stuff, whatever they aren't healing at the time.
Also thanks for the sniper tip :buddy:

Robos and Reres (Retard Recons = Melee Recons) will be your most annoying enemies in high level Merc.
If you'll ever play as Medic in AvA EVERYONE will try to kill you. That's life. :buddy:
I'm glad the coupon codes are on the OP now.
Woo my money finally came through and I bought the game, level 13 here I come

It doesn't and your dad is wrong.
Is there a new FP Agency?
And did they remove the fucking drop-down menu to choose the server you play on?
It takes so fucking long to get into a game in Europe.

Check the "Queue on other servers" in your settings.
It doesn't and your dad is wrong.
It obviously does need opening since the game is asking for it to be opened. We don't know that because our computers do it for us rather than his firewall blocking the change.

Weird, I've got it closed and the game doesn't tell me anything.
Check the "Queue on other servers" in your settings.
Thanks, but it still takes a million billion years to get in one.

If by billion years you mean 1 to 10 minutes then there's nothing unusual. GA has always been like that. That's what VR is for.
I just started playing this game on Friday, got to level 21 so far and something I've noticed is that the people in Mercenary are either really good or really bad. There is no in-between.
Sadly the really bad people make up 97% of the players

After seeing the prototype on the new map why the hell couldn't that cybernetic boss be in spec ops he would've been awesome
Weird, I've got it closed and the game doesn't tell me anything.
Wow. The game does it for you and closes when you exit the game, it doesn't show up in your main ports since it's only temporary for the time you spend playing the game.

Emm, application cannot open ports for me. It can add an exception to Windows Firewall but it's still my Router that controls the ports.

By million billion years I meant 2 minutes when I played some months ago, and 20+ minutes when I started again recently.
Getting the trial now. Meh i want this game.
The game uses ports 9000,9001 TCP, and 9002-9999 UDP.
For in-game voice communication (enabled by Vivox), the following are enabled:
* Ports 12000-29999 - UDP - for voice media (RTP/RTCP)
* Port 80 and 443 - TCP - for Web server (HTTP/HTTPS)
* Ports 5060 and 5062 - UDP - for voice control signals (SIP)
* Ports 3478 and 3479 - UDP - to aid in setting up voice with NAT (STUN)
The game opens these ports automatically so you can play. They close when you exit.
You may need to unblock them manually if you have a strict firewall or strict router.
Please stop posting.

Are you a Recon?
Are you a Recon?
Was.
Playing as recon or robo=longest queue.
The game isn't as great as i hoped :cries:

What is it you don't like?
What is it you don't like?
The advertisment was so great so instantly made me want to buy the game. So many hopes.
I tried the trial now, and it seems that Global Agenda is just another MMO, but now with interactive combat and nice advert.
I tried playing as recon and enjoyed it a lot at start, but then I realized that it was the same all the way.
The good side that the game is not based around "buy teh booster and u will pwn em oll", and the idea of an endless trial is just great. The amount of laggs in PVP/PVE missions is also impressive (just no lags, seriously)
But i got bored in 2 days. I don't think that the gmae is worth buying.
