There's no fast way to earn XP, all gamemodes give roughly the same amount of XP/hour, the only exception is Merc if you're playing really well. Then you get more. So it's up to you to choose what you want to play.
I suggest keeping tokens and purchasing the items needed to make a pet. I bought a DNA binding kit (30k tokens) a Mini Helot Mold (40k Credits) and the blueprints to make one (100 tokens) then I sold it for 500k credits in about a half an hour.

It's best to buy items fro tokens, since there's barely anything you can buy with credits later on. I've got so much credits I don't know what to spend them on, while I'm always low on tokens.
You guys are all rich and stuff, I have 30k credits and a shitload of components. Also, what is a H2 Motivator and is it worth anything?

If you know what something costs, check it's price on Auction House.

At worst you get 1000xp for 18 minutes of work. At best you get around 2000xp. You also get all the material drops etc, so you can get some money. I want a damn crescent jetpack, but with my luck after 50 matches I won't have gotten anything good. I hate the random drop based systems. Token based weapons I can at least guarantee myself to get something if I work for it. I have killed over 400 helots on my assault and am yet to get a damn helot minigun.

They made weapons buyable for a short while from the auction house then removed it, something about exploits with bind on equip and that kind of jazz I think
