I love this game, don't regret getting this on steam.

comparing global agenda to mass effect -average intelligence of a steam forums user
Bought just now. I haven't played yet but I set up my account. I got pretty mad when I couldn't use numbers in my name. Luckily I picked a good name, I still wish they could have told me beforehand it costs twice as much to change my name than it did for me to buy the game in the first place.
how many characters are you allowed to make again?

I think its 4 of each class. I dont remember. I could be really wrong.

It's either 8 or no limit. Not sure.
Not that you'll ever need more than 4(8).
So I was browsing the internet and I saw a gift screen.
It said global agenda on it.
fuck yeah

No, I wanted to be named ZF911, actually. ChuckBartowski works just as well though.
After the tutorial I got into the first actual online game and it froze on me after some lag. I'm going to mess with video settings and whatnot, but is lag a common thing online?
Ugh.
Recons.
So i'm on the "Not So Super Computer" mission.
where the fuck are the parts at?

There are 3 more quests in the town, they give you components.
Alright, so I finally started to play GA again after a few months, and for the Defiance mission, it says to place an explosive on the statue in Presidio. I flew over there, threw a fire bomb, it stuck and blew up, but nothing happened. Do fire bombs not count as explosives? Anyone know what to do?

Which mission is that? I honestly don't remember, which is weird.
Also no, Fire Bomb shouldn't count since it's a Recon-only off-hand.

same. I'm a bit noob and I need some help.
I'm just grinding through quests, slightly confused and slightly annoyed by how long it takes to get from A to B.

Don't worry, you'll run out of quests at lvl 16 or so.

Newbies are welcome to apply to GAFP agency at Agency Center.
Didn't know we had an Agency. :haw:
[editline]3rd February 2011[/editline]
Got my application as pending. :saddowns:
I'll get at it as soon as I can.
Means a lot to me.
I just realized how much more tedious questing is alone, as opposed to in a group. You get the same exp, just without any of the dying.
Gift, anyone? :buddy:
Thought so. :smith:
my friends are asses.
wait, where's GAFP?
