IDK, I actually prefer this type of PvE rather than generic MMO "Kill X boars, ok now kill X BIGGER BOARS, ok now go talk to this guy to go here and kill more boars" etc.

Grinding the same fucking mob is horrible but there's something even worse that made me quit WoW. "Get X from Mob Y" Where Mob Y is single NPC in the whole fucking area and there's 100 retard players waiting to kill, and it respawns like once in 5 minutes. At least Global Agendas PvE is instanced, encourages teamplay and ends with a pretty challenging boss (unless you're doing Spec Ops 10 levels lower than you). That together with a good combat system, where you actually have to aim and not just go 123451234512345 all the time, makes it all even better. [editline]21st April 2011[/editline]
Did a horrible job then. Global Agenda PVE is leaps and bounds worse than the PVE in WoW
Yeah right. WoWs PvE outside of raids consists of "Kill 1000 of X" and "Get 10 of Z" where Z only has .01% chance to drop from some obscure mob.
I see you haven't played WoW since Cataclysm has come out, because it has greatly improved.
I played Vanila and Cataclysm. Sure it got better after Cataclysm but those retarded quests are still there. I gave up after I couldn't finish a quest because the mob I needed to kill was camped by 30 fucktards.

Wait, are we playing the same games? EVERY QUEST in Global Agenda is "Kill X, Collect Y, or Go to Z". And then you say Cataclysm still has those when it doesn't? Using aim doesn't instantly make the combat more fun FYI. I'm confused.

[editline]21st April 2011[/editline] I find it that Aiming makes combat better than going 123451234512345 whole fucking time.

That means that going to some fort and killing some dudes isn't a painfully repetitive process.
You're over exaggerating, I played on a max population server and never experience anything like that.
I am not. Maybe not 30 but 10 for sure. And as soon as someone got a kill on that mob and left, a new guy came in. I stood there 30 minutes trying to get the kill and then just uninstalled that piece of shit.
Who cares about the WoW based quests, did you even try Spec-Ops?
As I said before. Those quests shouldn't even be there. They're made only for tricking WoW players and give new characters a boots.
Yeah, but still, they can be pretty fun with some mates, I personally like some exploration with my killing.

True.

As I said before.
Wait what? Who's side are you on?
Quests in GA are fine, and they can be fun first time but they're just a filler and do not represent the core gameplay. Just because I doesn't love something doesn't mean I hate it.

Anyway, I'm having trouble deciding which Assault weapon is best for a tank. Any tips?

If Robo dies, he just goes back to his nest. Recon fails as long as he plays.
As I said before. Those quests shouldn't even be there. They're made only for tricking WoW players and give new characters a boots.
Exactly. And my point was that they don't serve a useful purpose to WoW players because they will do some quests, quit because they are boring as fuck, and go back to WoW. Dunno why it took you half a page of arguing to agree with me in the end. I accept your apology though.
Why would they quit if the quests are boring as fuck if the quests are the exact same type of quests that WoW has and forces everyone to play for 85 levels. ??
They aren't the same. [editline]20th April 2011[/editline] also lol "forces"
I've played Cataclysm. Yeah they are. Cataclysm has some cutscenes and stuff now, but even then it's the exact same type of quests that Classic WoW had, and TBC + WOTLK still have. And WoW forces you to do dumb quests (ok you can do dumb quests with 4 other people in dungeons that have no resemblence to how you play your char at a high level) unless you do Battlegrounds at level 10 for 75 levels (but then you won't have good gear or any money, so gl doing that on your main). Like how you complained you couldn't PvP until Level 10 when it's the exact same thing in WoW too, trololo.
You can do 1-50 right now and only run across a handful of boring quests. I don't mind not being able to PVP in WoW because the PVE is actually compelling. Global Agenda is just really boring. [editline]21st April 2011[/editline] Trust me, I played it with 3 of my WoW guildmates and we found the PVE to be atrocious compared to WoW's, and that provides evidence for my claim that the PVE was nothing but a waste of developer resources.
Global agenda quests are excellent for filler when waiting in queues. Nothing more.
And when you do get over the queues, something amazing is waiting for you. I just had a payload match on toxicity, where the entire team was camping on roof tops, except me and 2 other medics. 3 medics with heal guns standing on the payload="WTF WHY CANNOT KILL FFFFUUUUUU" reactions from basically everybody on the enemy team. So we won on overtime on the last point, inches away from defeat. Medics=OP, 'nuff said. Not asking for a nerf, I guess it balances out the lack of good medics.
I wish people healed me on my assault. I feel I require a dedicated healer to be useful.
I'll be starting to play. Going semi-meleecon I guess. The atmosphere of the game's darker than I expected it to be.
When do I start doing instances with people? I'm tired of killing drones in the desert.
When do I start doing instances with people? I'm tired of killing drones in the desert.
virgin I don't really know but as for me, I'll be starting ASAP, as I've already got a decent agency at level ten. I have persuasive dickepowers, you know. Edit: Well, not a really decent agency, but at least the guys are nice and I got a 50% off code.
When do I start doing instances with people? I'm tired of killing drones in the desert.
As soon as you create your character. You don't even have to be in the desert.
I just switched to assault. I might switch again to medic though, seems more useful. Figured that recon is a pretty good class, but bad as a starter.
Figured that recon is a pretty good class, but bad as a starter.
The only useful thing Recon can do in PvP is to debuff enemy team with Scorpia, snipe turrets and drop occasional Shatter. Also you don't EVER need more than one Recon in a team.
