Didn't developer/publisher sign ups only open yesterday or the day before? For E3 that is...
I wonder if Respawn will be there. I would like to see ideas and concepts of whatever they're working on after leaving Activision.
They'll probably show off DOTA2.
Rockstar's publisher is 2K, and Valve's publisher is EA.
Since when ? As far as I know Valve do all their publishing themselves
Since when ? As far as I know Valve do all their publishing themselves
Console and retail publishing is EA.
Since when ? As far as I know Valve do all their publishing themselves
EA pretty much deals with everything thats not PC for Valve
Damn it
:ninja:
What's the deal anyways? It's not like they're going to announce EP3....
no but theyll flash their epeen all over e3 with dota 2
Valve is overrated anyway, if they released a game more often and stopped updating TF2 then I might have some respect for them. The Ep3 thing isn't even funny anymore.
Pretty sure they have released or announced a game a year for the past few years. L4D, L4D2, Alien Swarm, Portal 2 and DOTA2. Regular updates for TF2 is great, even if some of the updates aren't that good it's nice that it's actually being updated.

They actually have 2 games coming soon...
Portal 2 and DOTA 2.
They actually have 2 games coming soon...
Portal 2 and DOTA 2.
And episode 3 some time in the non existent future.
A Valve surprise at E3 would be awesome...
They're most likely showing up at EA's keynote, giving a right old middle finger to Blizactivisions in the process.
Gabe walks out onto the stage with a hard copy of Half-Life 2: Episode Three in a golden case and throws it at the audience, whoever catches it finalizes the official release date based on seat and row number. :v:
Gabe throws it to the farthest person possible.
no episode three, no point
I hope they push forward Portal 2 a couple of days again in time for my birthday :frown:
Gabe will show up during the EA or Sony confrence. I have a feeling it would go like this.
Gabe: Now I'm sure that some of you remember the hard times that we had previously faced. From the Left 4 Dead boycott all the way up to the protest about the Counter-Strike Beta and that the fact that we have been able to turn that into massive success.
However me and the rest of the team at Valve are positive that you will be pleased to hear that we will begin work on Left 4 Dead 3. I'd like to bring with you onto the stage to explain the differences in Left 4 Dead 3, Robbin Walker.
-Robbin walks onto the stage like a boss while Gabe steps back, remaining on the stage-
Robin: Now we've noticed that massive size in the popularity of Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 during their launches, we know that the Left 4 Dead series is now one of the most played on the global market. However due to an alarming volume of purchases and demand for new campaigns, maps, characters etc. We have decided to deliever this within another sequal rather than releasing it all in DLCs. Sounds fimilar doesn't it?
So your asking, what would this sequal contain and is it good enough to stop myself from creating a boycott group? Well I'd like to state out that this sequal will infact take place in a different country to that of the United States. The story will take place in at least three countries within Europe during the same timeline as of Left 4 Dead 2.
This sequal will contain far more weapons than ever before, from bear bottles as melee weapons to throwing knifes to replace your pistols. We'd also like to announce that PS3 users running steamworks will be able to join any live game with those that are on the PC with this sequal. Steam users will also have their own exclusive CEDA Store which will enable them to purchase custom accessories and perks as they please. However if you cannot afford the CEDA Store, custom accessories will have abilities to be found through either achievements, promotions and drops. These will mostly include just simple misc things from shirts to custom shoes. Not only that, versus and similar gamemodes that are currently on Left 4 Dead 2 will be ported onto Left 4 Dead 3 and will be critical improved with new infected bosses and as well as the ability to host 8v8 games. Along with that you will have the ability to customize your game settings, for example, if you wanted the game to be even more fun, you would have the ability to make it tanks only or you could modify all of the players healths from 50% to 150%. If you wish to learn more, visit us at our booth.
-Robin walks backwards and Gabe walks forward as the crowd attempts to figure out what Robin just said-
Gabe: Now before I wrap this up, I would like to make one more important announcement.
-Speakers play Reload Doctor Freeman RELOAD!-
-Crowd goes nuts like little school girls-
Gabe: I'd like to announce, that HL2: Ep3 will be coming out this Fall. Afterward we will begin working on Left 4 Dead 3 and the public beta for those that own Left 4 Dead 2 will start during this Winter.
Gabe: I'd like to announce, that HL2: Ep3 will be coming out this Fall. After then we will begin working on Left 4 Dead 3 and the public beta for those that own Left 4 Dead 2 will start during this Winter.
more like other way around.

Even that would be decent because in the end, Ep3 would be announced.
I think you mean afterward not after woulds.
I think you mean afterward not after woulds.
Fixed it, thanks.
no but theyll flash their epeen all over e3 with dota 2
Zat sony is a spy!
Zat sony is not vune uf us!
cloth physics is planned for dota2
if we get dota before episode 3- episode 3 gets cloth physics
Wonder how that's gonna work out.
Damn, no Tripwire, wanted to see more info about RO2, Heroes of Stalingrad
Theres no way they wouldnt be at E3 its probably a surprise
To clarify, Valve is under the Electronic Arts showcase. They are confirmed.
Gabe walks out onto the stage with a hard copy of Half-Life 2: Episode Three in a golden case and throws it at the audience, whoever catches it finalizes the official release date based on seat and row number. :v:
And so, the person at the final row, in the final column sheepishly picks up the disc. He is then promptly executed, and the disc is passed to the diagonal opposite of the room.
and Valve's publisher is EA.
Didn't the deal with EA end and Valve didn't renew it?
I'm pretty sure Gabe said they'd do it themselves now since they have loads of money.

Nope, they made a new contract and EA is publishing portal 2. In fact EA released the retail cover art.
