I'm afraid its slightly dying. Thats why i made this thread, to hopefully kick start a few more players into it.
I remember the UT2004 mod version of this. I got it off the special edition and never played online, just walked around in single player because the bots never really did anything. I kind of want it but I don't know if I'll like it.

I still frequently play Darkest Hour. I love that mod, for me it's even more fun then vanilla RO.

You can also tell by the Helmets, that's what i do! Cause german helmets are dark-greenish, shaped a special way, and the russians usually don't even have helmets!
I hate it when an enemy kills your hole freakin' team from behind with a gun he picked up from a dead body. You don't look back, you don't worry, cause by the gunsounds it's someone in your team.

Honestly it depends on what you're into. This game is freaking awesome if you're into realism but you prolly won't like it a ton if you live on crosshairs. One or two bullets will kill you and you better be ready to hit the dirt when you hear a shot whiz past your ear. If you've played the mod Insurgency, it's kinda like that, just set back in WW2.
I used to play this like mad and have clocked in 230++ hours since then.
Now I don't see myself playing it that often, but still 230 hours ain't half bad.

Took out like 5 tanks with 6 shots within the first 15 mintues of a round once.

Hehe, nice! I like the AT-soldiers in DH better, cause they can be resupplied and their better (I belive), so you have to use teamwork to bring down more than 1 tank!
Also, going on skype and then team up in a tank with 2 friends is great! I just wish more of my IRL friends had this game.
I don't know if should I buy this game or save money for new cell phone, since my Z520i is broken.

The game has many Bugs and I can't shoot an elephant with the scopes.
But other then that, it is a good game.
