that's the dual beretta anims in CS:GO that's a fairly normal reload for a dual wield and isn't all tacticool as fuck
Shooting with the berettas feels stiff but the reload is fine, i like it too, it's simple, smooth, no crazy shit.
yeah like I can understand the stiffness part but beyond that the animations feel fine but like I said before it will probably be quick to be replaced by community content
Realism wasn't really a point I was trying to make, it was more just like the ironsights are there, effective, and serve a clear (although usually artificial) purpose And to be fair there are aftermarket open HK rear sights
well it's like that in most games isn't it? my first FPS I really got into was BF2, and it did ironsights (though they had alignment issues)
My favourite 1p weapon anims are probably from Project Reality.
Tribes Ascend probably has the best animation I've seen in a shooter, in both third and first person PoV.
Where you're character takes a few seconds to prone, a few seconds to reload, etc.
Okay the reload I agree with, to make sure you get it right the first time will take a couple seconds. But going prone? Even with a pack and a rifle, it's not hard to hit the dirt quickly. If you're taking the time to gradually move down, you're not being fired at or you're asking to get shot. Otherwise you've got a few options and all of them are quick and get you on your stomach.
i'm pretty sure it's similar to black ops where you can like dive into prone
