I've payed for Gish a bunch of times now but it's finally going open source which makes me happy.
OP says this sale is over but I just got it for 1$.
Oops sorry, forgot to check.
The only thing out of this that was worth it was Penumbra: Overture and World of Goo. (Which I already had)
The other games aren't that great.
Penumbra source code got released. We need to code in co-op NOW!

Definitely, 3 or 4 players would be good :D

Lugaru's actually pretty good once you get used to it.

It is, but it's hard as hell.
Those wolves are such bullshit.

Seriously, what's with Gish difficulty curve. It's fucking awful. You start and everything is easy, then Chapter 3 HOLY Shit now it's the real deal!
Pretty excited that the penumbra source code was released along with the other codes.
The Penumbra physics engine is awesome. Can't wait for someone to create more puzzles with it.
penumbra puzzle mod without scariness go
penumbra with guns go. are you telling me there isn't a SINGLE firearm in a mine like that

In a MILITARY mine like that.
There's even empty ammunition boxes.
In Black Plague you even see bullet holes in glass.
Penubra wouldn't even be half as scary if it had guns.
Penubra wouldn't even be half as scary if it had guns.
Why? You still couldn't kill anything, and you'd probably attract every monster in the area.
Would anyone mind buying it for me?

Because having a gun in hand makes you feel safer. The game doesn't want you to feel safe.

You'd probably be less safe, though, if you tried to use it.

True that.
It's fucking creepy seeing a dog, then hiding. Then you find a rock and try to bash it's face open :ohdear:

Or you could jump on a crate and bash its head when it tries to jump to attack you. :v:

I don't like the spiders. :ohdear:

The spiders are probably the most "likeable" thing to me because you can just use the torch.
Until they go around you and swarm. :byodood:
Dogs aren't that bad, really.
I hate these fucking dogs
I seriously can't play that game. >.< I'm a weakling
Penumbra is more scary because you're :tinfoil: all the time about enemies, especially the first levels. Once you know a dog or something is actually there it's not that bad.
I agree. The fear of suspecting something's nearby, or seeing something and then hiding is more than the physical danger. You can actually just run straight past most enemies without a problem, but it feels a lot more like a close escape than an easy running past...
