You are wrong in just one thing. If you get Fallout 3 - get it for the PC. One reason - mods. They made me complete the game 2 more times. (For a total of 6). And each time I took a different path with a different character.
By console, I think he meant the console commands.

Oh... Carry on then :D
I got bored at L4D after a week, I do NOT recommend it! I would recommend Hearts of Iron 2 or 3, if you're into those kinda games!
So, to all these disagree's. What is so unique with L4D that makes it good? It's always the same :/
Agree'd actually. The only times its actually fun to play it is with friends, and even at that, it gets boring :/
Best replayable games would be online, like the cod series, counter strike, TF2, and so on. Games like that
Mount and Blade.
Definitely Fallout 3 for the PC. I bought it at the day of the release and still play it frequently now.
Although the game isn't perfect and can become tedious at times, mods really keep the game alive for me and I still love it today.
This is probably stupid, but TF2. :v:
What are you waiting for?
It's out in every store here, and I don't feel like getting it on steam. Actually, I don't feel like spending my money at it at all.
Audiosurf.
Disregard what everybody in this thread has said and get any of the total war series
ArmA and ArmA II due to the massive moddability.
Left 4 Dead (i suggest of buying Left 4 Dead 2)
Absolutely not. That game got so repetitive the second week of playing it.
As for left for dead 2... Wait till the reviews come out.
Mass Effect.
Disregard what everybody in this thread has said and get any of the total war series
Not exactly the easiest game to get into...
Peggle
Oblivion
Mount and Blade
Fallout 3
[editline]04:00AM[/editline]
Basically because the devs encourage making mods.
Any S.T.A.L.K.E.R game.
I love all of these love-ratings everyone in the thread seem to get, rate me love! :3:

Oh, How ironic.

How is it ironic?

A box instead of love.
Sim City games. they have good re-playability. If not, go for GTA IV
Deus Ex
Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2
Jade Empire
Mass Effect
Personally, the game that holds the record of my hours played is Team Fortress 2. I would go with that in terms of straight up replay-ability.
A box instead of love.
Yup -.-
Spore.
The Sims. Any of 'em.
The first Splinter Cell. That never gets old.

Agree, Splinter Cell... I love those games.
There is no action-hero that is cooler than Sam!

If you're into turn-based strategy, look into Heroes of Might and Magic. The third one is the best imo.
I hate the shooting-system(and the combat-system overall) in Fallout 3, it's a nice RPG game, but as a shooter it's the worst I've ever played.
I actually love the shooting mechanism. There's nothing as cool as blowing someones head up with the Lincoln's Repeater from 60 yards away with one shot without using V.A.T.S. Though some weapons are HORRIBLE inaccurate on long distances.

Yes it is nice, but I'm talking about the aim, the wierd recoil and that you can't even aim down the ironsight ><
