Those screenshots are all rendered in a huge resolution so theres no jaggies. If you actually play the mod, he sets the DOF so god damn high just because he thinks it looks good even though I can't fucking see 10ft in front of me.

Everyone should know that it always looks super-awesome with uber-physics, bendable materials, complete destructibility (to the point of looking like DMM) in the official trailers and screenshots. Then the game comes out, has only half of what it had shown and everyone is disappointed.

I really like that HUD actually.

I like the new look for the aliens, maybe now they'll be fun to fight. Also, I really don't understand all of the Crysis hate. Sure, it's not as good after the aliens appear, and the vehicle section wasn't great (though not as bad as everyone keeps saying), but I don't see how that makes the entire game suck. All of the parts leading up to the aliens with the jungle environments, destructible buildings, large areas, and Koreans were really fun.

You haven't seen the gameplay so there's nothing to back it up B. Just because they're making it on consoles doesn't automatically mean it's going to be worse, by your logic half-life, half-life 2, TF2, portal, portal 2, L4D and L4D2 are all worse then they could've been just because it's on a console

The Crytek line is that they are at the very forefront of realtime graphics technology (this is true), and that they will create an engine that pushes the envelope not only on the PC, but also on the console. There is no dumbing down for console when porting to PC, because it is a PC port to console rather.

For gameplay I'll wait and see before judging.
