I had the same problem throughout the night when i was trying to sign my sister up. but i eventually got thought on maybe the 50th try, lol.

I suppose I'll wait until tomorrow, if the confirmation email doesn't come through I'll try another account.
I fixed my problem, just didn't check Yes or No on the beta signup at first, created the account, then logged in and signed up for beta.

I still haven't got my verification email from my successful or unsuccessful accounts...
I think the testing page is closed again.
The scanner is a fucking joke. It picked up my TV tuner and decided that the tuner was my primary sound card, not the X-Fi or the on board sound card...
I spent about an hour last night trying to get in.
Finally did, after throwing on a movie and trying every few minutes. All signed up and ready to go, just waiting for the beta to start.
This fucking sign up goes on a fucking loop on both IE and Firefox, on IE, it requires me to install that system requirement lab add-on, and i did and have to redo all that information again, and got back to the scan, and it still pops up, the scanner won't scan in IE, it's fucking terrible.
Now on firefox it did the same thing however the scan works, but after i hit submit and complete, it takes me all the way back to the registration to become a tester... god damnit, these people don't know how to fucking make a proper testing registration system right.

Go to My Account in the Right upper corner, go to the very bottom on FF 3, you should have a ! mark on a "Spec Scan" Scan from that way, beta scan does the same exact thing but it just fucked up. So try just doing it from "My account."

What browser do you use? Try deleting your cookies and try again?
Tried it with firefox. Also gave it a go with Opera but it still refuses.

It's gonna be funny when half the beta testers get banned for making videos, screenshots, and just generally letting loose information (you have to be 18 for a reason, if you get accepted they probably swear you to secrecy, as is with some beta/gamma tests)

Okay fuck this..I finished the scan..it started me over, I tried again and it said "Your email is already in use" BUT IT NEVER LET ME FUCKING FINISH REGISTERING so I can't log in anyway.

Don't know whether this has been said but the community team made a point that this is not beta.
They are referring to it as the game 'testing phase' which seems to place in between alpha and beta (could I guess be alpha I suppose).
So beta is still to come down the track.
I have a guild already which will be good.
