The one thing I want is the cities to be miles apart like in swg (as long as you can get around easily) so that we can have POH (Player owned houses) and player cities. And obviously, vendors.

I think it was announced that no such things will be anywhere near SWTOR. Which is why I'm most likely not going to be buying it unless they wow with me some other factor.

I don't know what they were thinking to be honest. A good story and questlines are awesome, sure, but isn't NEARLY enough to make a good MMO. To be honest, I could give less of a fuck about tthat, this isn't some single player RPG. I just want p cool features and lazers and other cool star wars shit ya know brO?
BUT, I haven't even actually PLAYED the game yet, so everything I say is quite pointless for the time being. It may still turn out quite awesome.

Personally, it's my opinion that more people with lower and mid computer specs get in. They want to see what's the lowest the game is playable at, they probably already know that high specs are good for it.
Erm, they haven't even given out the first batch yet I don't think. We'd have at least one members with a testers pass otherwise.
If you're on windows 7 you might have a higher chance to be a tester, for all we know they haven't even seen if it works with Win7

Mine hasn't been working since they launched the site. I emailed the support people. They responded twice, then stopped helping me. They asked the simple questions like are your java and flash up to date and which browser are you using.
