Guys.
Hey guys listen.
Guys.
Guys hey.
Hey.
Guuuuys...
So, those tanks are marked "EU"
One would say: Heey that's European Union! Yeah, that could be, BUT...
At the very end of Zero Hour Chinese campaign, China defeats GLA, takes control of Europe and establishes Euroasian Union, as Americans retreat back to America.
Then Americans probably started turtling, like gays, and EU can't break their defences. But then GLA jumps out of their secret tunnel networks and start causing trouble again (typical GLA tactic - when you think they're all dead, you realize those were just decoy buildings and that now you have to face whole army of Marauders). Americans use this distraction to try and conquer Europe once again.
I demand a return of GLA terrorists.

Great, I got a reason to play through Generals and Zero Hour's campaigns again. Also, am I the only one who hears the Chinese dozers say "It will look real rice"?
I don't care about anything you motherfuckers say, Generals was the best fucking RTS ever.
Frostbite 2.
Is that really a bad thing though? Forstbite 2 was pretty great in BF3, minus the lens flares of course.
Finally the EU as a playable faction..
Somebody is butthurt because they don't consider Generals a C&C game.
It isn't. It's a good RTS though. I'll be watching Generals 2.

I build for China.
Shall I push the button?
I liked how Generals used mostly weapons and technology that exists, or could exist in the battlefield today, but it looks like Generals 2 is basically completely abandoning that, which I guess would be reasonable because it would be kind of boring to have the same units as the last game

That really awful AA makes me think it will show up on the xbox eventually. I mean you have a promo screen and it has giant massive aliasing everywhere.
Those muted colours also don't spell good. unit recognition is very important in an RTS. Looking at those units, I get warbled mess a, warbled mess b. Mostly due to the base texture of the units being a gray that merges with the ground.

I like the RA2 Demo Truck lines:
Don't wait up for me!
One way trip!
Why don't you drive?
Jon Van Caneghem: Generals 2 takes place ten years after the events in Generals. At the beginning the world is actually at peace. There's a huge conference where a landmark peace treaty is about to be signed. But moments before that happens, a terrorist attack takes away all of the leaders in attendance. The only leaders who are left are the generals and that's where you come in. We have three factions in the game, the GLA, the EU and one more we aren't revealing – yet!
Close enough.
As long as it's not the Japs again.
wtf they actually removed either USA or China?
this is already turning out terrible.
China is probably the EU to be honest.
I bet EU actually stands for Eurasian Union.

USA = EU how can you not get that.
They told me china will grow larger
USA = EU how can you not get that.
According to Zero hour eu means eurasian union, but when did EA actually stick to previous games v:v:v

yeah that's what Generals ended at, US lost the war and china had to mop up GLA from Europe leading to Eurasian Union.
not even kidding.

OP, you need to add some much-needed info to your post.
The studio working on the game is Victory Games, now known under the Bioware label as Bioware Victory. They're mostly based out of LA, being the remnants of the C&C3/4 and RA3 developer EA LA.
I say "remnants" because many of the key staff from that period of the C&C franchise's development have moved on, such as Greg Kasavin and friends forming Supergiants Games and making Bastion. As such, Bioware Victory is largely untested waters, and Generals 2's final quality remains entirely up in the air.
