Mapping And Modding Has A Chance Of Surviving. Also, Ill Only Buy This Game If Its On Steam and, Since Bioware Victory Is Making It It Won't Fail Like C&C4.
Also, Hopefully When You Stop Typing Like This.
But no, the idea of moding is unlikely, since that would compete with DLCs.

Same with mapping, no point giving players the ability to create their own maps when you can sell them map packs and its most definetly going to be origin exclusive.

Add an apostrophe to "it's" so it's it's and not its, write definitely correctly, take away "most definitely going to be" and it's correct.
Juhziz did get a fan made challenge in Shockwave Mod though, which used the official unreleased audio, not sure if they also did one for Fei as well
Fei didn't get one in Shockwave, but in Raptor Mod it was added (or rather, reactivated)
What a shame that they scrapped the good old units looks again.
The same thing happened when CnC Tiberium wars came out, I thought they'd go for Renegade units, they went super-sci-shit-fi.
Looks like it with Generals 2 too.
Dont worry, im sure there will be a mod for thi-
Oh.
Frank Klepacki had nothing to do with the soundtrack for Generals. It was all Bill Brown. If I remember right, he released most of the soundtrack for free on his site, although there were a few tracks missing.
Behold, the bringer of light.

generals 2 looks shitty, reminds me CNC3, it's getting worse.
but they announce DLC this early?
How far in the future is it?

Oh god how I love Dr Thrax's quotes.
You guys DO understand that music for C&C: Generals and Zero Hour was not produced by Frank Klepacki, right?
I'll give them this much: At least whoever they got to do the music for Generals was able to make some GOOD music.
Also, Generals was an OK game, but I never did like the bad path-finding and shitty skirmish AI (back in those days I didn't have good enough internet to play online so it was skirmish-only for me). Even the hardest AI could be beaten by turtling. Literally, just sit there long enough and sooner or later, the AI would just stop doing anything. No more attacks, no more harvesting, no more building (except rebuilding in the exact same spot you blew up the last building), nothing.
And I concur with the consensus that no mod support = no future for this game, it's just another EA cash-grab. I got to try the full version of Red Alert 3 for free, and I still felt ripped-off it was that bad.

Every time they release more bad news about Generals 2, I die a little bit more.

They've already started the process of deciding what's going to be left out of the game that they can sell after as dlc.
Classic Bioware.

RA3 was probably the most solid modern CnC game in multi. Unit art design and campaign were atrocious though. Which is what I think killed it more than gameplay (which was good)

Eh, Red Alert 3 more or less had a solid moding base. It's just, well... it was tough enough to use the SDK and mostly unrewarding for all the work that needed to be done.

Uhh, all you had to do with Japanese was to build all the stuff needed for Shogun. Then just build three of those and you win any game.
And on maps without water you could just play soviets and then you could do all kinds of nooby stuff, turtling, rushing...
Quite frankly, if this turns out anything like the way CNC 4 did, then i'd rather put barbecue sauce on my bollocks and run into a wolf enclosure. Doubly so if no mod support.

CNC 4 was just an insulting way to end the tiberium storyline.
I'm sorry what, there've been no C&Cs after 2002.
I do hope that the game'll have Mod support, but I kind of doubt it.

Frostbite 2? Bioware?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAnope.
They were just renamed BW as far as I understood it, other than that they're the same.
As I said, I kind of doubt it. The kind of way that I am expecting zero mod support.

There is still potential for there to be a CNC5, the Scrin have yet to invade in full force
Of course knowing EA, it would turn out fucking horrible
C&C Generals 2, I'm goin in.

But Kane is gone already D:
Guess they left the rest for our poor imagination, thus that the world ends in a terrible way.
Remember, the first Scrin invasion wasn't invasion at all, that was only one harvesting unit not expecting any kind of civilisation. An equivalent of that one little machine gun on GDI tiberium harvester, and humans have already had hard time smoking them out. If Scrin wanted people to die, they would bring some real weapons and annihilate everything in a matter of minutes, much like 7 hour war. Except there would be no survivors.
Maybe they are free dlc's.. or.. or maybe there's some crafty unlock system.. no no it's 8.99€ to unlock minigunners for chinese to replace the riflemen.

I'd like to point out, that calling a tactic nooby, if it wins the opponent the game is kind of weird. Rushing is essentially the staple of every single CnC game and was extremely viable in tibsun, even more so in Ra2 and generals.
Turtling was actually really bad in Ra3, since the economy was map control based as opposed to clustered. So the moment you started turtling the opponent just sprawls and runs you over.
As to shoguns, from memory they were really vulnerable to air and subs could waste them pretty easily as well.
From what I've seen it looks pretty good but I do wish they would give a grittier art style. The tanks are too shiny and the choppers aren't shiny enough. It would be great if units come out of the factories clean but slowly get weathered. Gameplay wise that would give a good indication of which units have survived well and which ones havn't been used enough.
The base buildings definately need a less sci-fi feel (watch trailer, pause at 0:20 and look at the right)
It can't get any worse.
Wanna bet?
