ngl i was mostly pissed off because riot was changing red buff.
but they didn't so i didnt really care. counter jungling was already pretty viable. the only difference the remake did was it made it a lot more forgiving if you got counter jungled because the creeps would respawn fairly quickly.

Shaco so fun :D
I don't believe so? I have good faith in Riot but there are things that I'm disappointed with in LoL which I feel is due to mistakes on Riot's part.
I "complain" about dota fanboys because of baseless accusations that really have no evidence to back it up.
baseless accusations? we're always talking about stupid changes that riot made and all you always have is denial
Rather I just don't agree with the general opinion then?
Especially when it's a change that hasn't even gone live yet or barely been implemented.
Not to mention the general "release champion is OP", which happened to Fiora and Ziggs if I recall correctly?

I guess I may play off as "sucking riot's dick" because I don't think it's worth mentioning every single thing that's bad about Riot, especially when it's common knowledge that they need to improve on it (adobe air, fixing older champions, PFE being 3k RP, 6.3k IP for every new release etc)
Riot do good and bad decisions, they may seem good to them and bad to us. It happens a lot in game development.
I try not to comment on changes for champions I don't play (Or don't know well enough to form an opinion). So for something like the Irelia W nerfs, I didn't speak up because I don't play Irelia so I wouldn't be entirely sure if it was a deserved change or not.
Maybe that's another reason why I rarely seem to talk negatively about Riot.

After a shitty start and much namecalling on skype, we finally managed to pull this out of our arses.
Ok then
The last person who said Morello was a dumbass was Dr.Scrake and all I saw in him was a dota fanboy
didnt you say you dont care about someone being a dota fanboy as long as they have evidence to back up their accusations? why do you use it as an insult?
Part of the reason he was nerfed was because he had all the bases covered, CC, gap closing, sustain, moderate tankiness and some burst.
really good reasons indeed
but now he has almost none of that, you even said so yourself
you arent doing much to prove morello is a good designer
If Riot truly nerfed champions because they were dunking nooblords too hard
oh, I'm sure they have never done that before!
but there are quite a few times when it turned out the changes actually did make sense or weren't that bad at all.
like when they scrapped a champion because he was deemed too generic, and released an even more generic champion? or when they decided it would be a good idea to influence people to use the tribunal, then not even put a link to it on their site? or perhaps when they decided to nerf urgot for no reason?
or when they decided it would be a good idea to influence people to use the tribunal
HATE TO BE THAT GUY, But....

I'm not talking about now btw
I'm talking about when they released it and I got all excited to use it
"nerf urgot for no reason"
I don't think Riot uses a dartboard for balancing anymore.
He was played 12 times in MLG Anaheim and had a 58% win rate, so they may be some truth in the nerf but I can't really comment further as I haven't played Urgot and haven't seen him much at all.
Also this is what Elementz has to say on Urgot:
Well I did talk a lot about Urgot ^ right here so yeah.. Any who Urgot has been proving himself deemed "OP" by many professional players and teams due to his overall strength. If you manage to land a E on someone they're going to get chunked for some serious DPS. Pro players being pro and all generally land these more then they miss them. That's not what the worst part of Urgot is. It's his level 6 strength. At level 6 Urgot is a tank and an AD carry all in one and he will swap you and pretty much crush you with ease. Look at MLG when Aphromoo 2v1'ed as Urgot vs Ashe Janna I believe and just swapped and killed with Ashe really having no way of surviving the damage. Urgot prays on the squishes and the ones with no escapes and that's what makes him so deadly. His downfall is his mid into late game transition where he starts to fall off and become more of a utility AD carry then a true DPS monster like Graves, Corki, or Kog'Maw for instance.
yeah good thing every league player plays in MLG
I would think it's a good thing if Riot favored high level play for balancing?
why? high level play is a lot different than what 90% of league players do
Because high level players have more knowledge with how the game works and are less easily swayed by public opinion. The majority of LoL players I would say aren't really knowledgeable so the state of champions may be distorted. Didn't season 1 stats show that only 25% of the player base were bronze or above? I recall higher ranks didn't even have percentages with double digits. Elo may not be the best indicator for skill level but it's a rough indicator at least.

I love that phrase
"...they'll shit damage all over you."
:v:

And because of the better knowledge of the game, they play differently. They have full rune pages, they use different builds and they own different champions. I wouldn't mind if they balanced the entire game based on high ELO play, but it makes no sense for them to do so many "noob-friendly" changes, that benefit the unskilled majority of LoL players, then nerf Urgot because a bunch of players (the ones with percentages that don't reach two digits, as you said) said he's OP.
Not to mention the general "release champion is OP", which happened to Fiora and Ziggs if I recall correctly?
Ziggs got nerfed 2 times
I used to main orianna when she was pretty underground, now everyone is playing orianna and they fucking suck with her
i literally never see orianna lol
didn't know AP malphite hurts like a bitch
ap malphite is best malphite. ult has a 100% AP ratio, Q has a 60% ratio, E scales off of armor (zhonya's is p cool), he's naturally tanky, and his shield helps negate early harass for the most part.
i literally never see orianna lol
i have seen the horrors of ad carry orianna and triple gp10
they both fucking sucked and did no god damn damage at any time
i swear she did so low damage blue buff didn't aggro on to her, that's how insignificant it was
I used to main orianna when she was pretty underground, now everyone is playing orianna and they fucking suck with her
ORIANNA UP CAN'T TWO HIT SQUISHIES SHIT CHAMP!!!!!
[editline]29th June 2012[/editline]
Seriously though I love Orianna but there are so many people who are god-awful with her.
She has incredible burst damage and can support in teamfights with shield and her ult, but when she's on cooldown she has to leave the fight for a couple of seconds which a lot of people don't do and get focussed down
i literally never see orianna lol
I played her just 4 hours ago, remember?
I played her just 4 hours ago, remember?
