He's a carry so he's going to win 1v1s, most champions have crowd control, if you're meeting him in the laning phase it's bottom where you have a support and if it's after the laning phase you should have someone with some slow around you when the fight happens.

idk about you venn but typically i meet top laners at the top lane in the laning phase disregard this i thought it was darius not draven ._.

The crowd-control is the problem, but without it, [i]he isn't Alistar[/i]. Already he's really awful at farming jungle creeps and objectives, that's his weakness. People also need to not be so quick to hit 'Yes' when the surrender vote rolls by at twenty minutes. Unless Alistar snowballed a lane to insanity, come team fights, their team effectively has two supports and lacks a bruiser. A good Alistar will still be able to initiate and romp around with his crowd control, but they're going to be severely lacking in damage without a fed laner. [editline]21st July 2012[/editline] Jungle Ali's been used in tournament play too, and he's done really sub-par there is the thing. I doubt RIOT's going to nerf him, even if he stomps solo queue. Safe laners, advance warding, and these guys being able to pull off some ridiculously pro flashes leaves Alistar totally useless for mid and late-game.
