Luna? Are they serious? Out of all names, they gave one with the same name as Moon Rider from Dota. Not a good idea at all.
Quite possibly it's just a beta name or something.
Since she's meant to be an anti-leona I think she's going to be an assassin bruiser like irelia

Yeah from the art they look pretty similar, it would be interesting if Riot did a two-faced champion.

Get Surprise Party Fiddle skin, it'll increase your damage and skills.
Ignore any lanes til 6 (if jungling)
Surprise party everywhere.

Are you laning or Jungling? I played him as a Jungler, he has a slow clearspeed and is massively blue reliant.
Buy Amplifying Tome and a Mana pot.
Start Wolves and get your Drain, Auto-attack the largest and Drain it, clear the camp and get a pull on blue. Smite to kill and pick up Dark Wind, go to Wraiths, same process with Wolves. It's recommended you kill the Blue Wraith first as then your E gets more bounces on the red wraiths. Go back to Wolves, then grab Red and gank mid or bot.
You should have one point in all your abilities by now, aim a Dark Wind from the Brush, Fear them then Drain. Remember the Tether on your Drain is longer than the initial cast range and isn't broken when they enter Brush.
Skill Order is Drain, Fear and Dark Wind, grabbing Crowstorm when you can. It Synergises well with Flash as you can cover a larger distance with a double blink. Be warned however, you will likely die using this ability. Grab Zhonyas Hourglass for its active effect and hope the enemy team don't just move out of the AoE.

Lanesticks can be really good against certain champs (Low range/Low CC) and he has amazing roaming potential, as a jungler he is easily countered but at your level you wont have to worry about that.
in lane, take one point in e for level 1 fight potential then max your w first, then your q, not forgetting to take your ultimate when you can

Draven was top and he was like 1/8/0 early game.

I honestly don't know how taric suddenly became the best support. Well, I know he's amazing, but Blitz is better at offensive supporting, Soraka at sustain and Janna at disruption. I suppose it's that Taric is a jack of all trades - his heal is great sustain, his E great for initiating or preventing ganks, and his W is a great armor buff.

I'm not enjoying ranked, not had a good AD Carry to support in ages.
The last draven fed and then went afk. Then udyr build super tanky and lost us the game since we had no damage.
That's why I don't like playing Support anymore and would rather play a carry. I don't like relying on randoms anymore.
I might have to find a decent AD duo partner since supporting isn't fun anymore.

It wasn't anything sudden, he's always been great. He's also not been nerfed a thousand times. I love Taric, unlike other supports, you're rewarded for playing aggressive. Fight bitches in team fights and you can throw out enough heals to make Soraka jealous while shredding armor and buffing everybody off your ultimate.
It's even more annoying when you are the support and your carry sucks and feeds and your team says "report bot lane"
I used to play support all the time but then I realized 75% of the time you're erasing the mistakes of bad players. I then started playing Leona because she was an initiator and you could play really aggressive with her but again, if your team sucks then all you'll be doing is starting fights you can't win. Now I only play support if I'm lazy or if I'm playing with friends who are probably better than me.
I always loved Taric's hair, and when he got the MR/lvl buff, well let's say I use a tiara now.
I main support blitz because he can change the game so much
