They are extremely different. Their only real similarity is their ults. Garen is great for shutting down certain top laners and generally being a bully, but you just need to pray the game doesn't last too long and he becomes useless.

He's just outdated. He needs a lot of work.

To this day I don't understand why they ever thought making Darius' ult true damage was a good idea. Why couldn't they just keep it as physical damage? What was the possible harm there? He already packs 25% armor penetration with just the passive from Apprehend. Throw in another 10% from Weapon's Expertise in the Offensive Tree and a Last Whisper and he has the single highest penetration in the game for armor.

Or y'know, make it a channeled ability. Not saying that'd fix it but it'd make it a teeny bit less painful knowing there was something you could have done about it.

I think I realized why the solo mid lane is my favorite one; I don't have to rely on anybody's competence (Maybe jungler's but ehh) And before you start telling me about solo top, at my level duo tops are very common which makes going top very stressful.

It says i have 20 down and 60 up, when i know i'm on 20/20. Nobody has a higher upload rate than download rate, simply impractical. And yeah that's good enough, download rates don't have a big impact on your ping, it's more about your distance to the server.

Well I dunno but... Whenever I'm torrenting linux distros my upload speed beats my download speed by MILES. It's always around 2-2.5 MB/s while my download is at 500-600 KB/s.

If you upload 200 kb/s to 10 users, it reads it as 2 MB/s.

Oh cool, thread got off the rails though. Is Veigar worth buying? I like playing mid and spamming abilities/not relying on autoattacks seems to be my kinda thing anyway. Is he worth that juicy 1350 IP?

blitz + xin after rework before it was good as hell now it's fucking god

1350 IP is pittance cash. You can definitely play Veigar all the way up until you face off against people who are competent enough to at least know what lane they're playing. He's more of a niche pick later on since he's a lot more farm dependent than most other AP mids, but he's one hell of a strong niche pick if you can pull it off.
