has to be an ap carry though where lb it doesn't matter dfg, deathcap, and voidstaff - you're ded
veigar is more utility than le blanc le blanc is the essence of single target burst damage, veigar can the entire enemy team with his stun and w, which is why he is so much stronger, but to say that his burst against a single person is larger is false.
Leblanc has 1177 base damage with a total of 2.74 AP scaling assuming you Mimic your Q. Veigar has 1080 base damage with a total of 2.8 AP + 0.8 enemy AP scaling. Assuming same AP (this is stretching it a bit since Veigar will almost always have more AP, but just for scenario's sake), Veigar would need to hit someone with at least 120~ AP to break even.
forgot how much fun ap ez is, no one knows how strong you are in lane
I've got one question guys. Hod wo you feel about Caitlyin? And any advices about playing it.
I've got one question guys. Hod wo you feel about Caitlyin? And any advices about playing it.
She has a pretty nice early game against certain lineups, but most likely than not, it's not worth using her over other stronger mid late game carries since she doesn't bring much damage past lane.
I feel that Caitlyn(whatever) simply doesn't hold up to other ranged AD carrys. I think her range is great- but up against somebody like ashe, shes pretty much fucked.
Hmm, my freinds say she sucks and that she is not worth 6300 ip points. But she is only range carry I can play relativly good without feeding and thats because of the range. So any tips how to improve her disadvateges??

And Caitlyn doesn't really do "destroy to oblivion" that well anyways, she just has a great laning phase. You should probably go and play some other AD Carries more. Practice is both a cliche and practical, so that's the only advice I can give.
I feel that Caitlyn(whatever) simply doesn't hold up to other ranged AD carrys. I think her range is great- but up against somebody like ashe, shes pretty much fucked.
Why would Cait lose against Ashe? Ashe's ult?
Why Cait would lose against Ashe? Ashe's ult?
Slow by Q, slow by W, stun by R Basically Ashe can catch Cait in a bad spot, or set up for a gank on her.
I've got one question guys. Hod wo you feel about Caitlyin? And any advices about playing it.
1) Use your traps to control the lane/bush. You can create a defensive line if you're pushed close to your tower, an offensive line if you're being really aggressive, keep bushes in your favour, etc. 2) Your range makes for easy and terrific harassment, and her Q hits hard. Whenever your passive is ready, it's a nice idea to give a quick shot to your opposition if you can do so safely. Stand in the bush and shoot for your passive to get activated quicker, but only do that if a teammate isn't setting up/hiding in there. 3) Your net is great for escapes. Just face the enemy, hit them with the net and propell yourself backwards. Can also go through thin walls with this. If you're quick on your fingers, you can actually shoot yourself with the net and fire off your Q at the same time. 4) Her ultimate can contribute to a fight even if she's not close enough to attack, yet. It's honestly a fantastic, satisfying execution. 5) When everyone is getting ready for a teamfight (you know those tense moments), put down two traps to assist in the coming battle, but save one to place when the fight itself starts. In late-game fights when your farmed, only use your Q to poke before the fight, not during it. The standard shots will be better in the long run. Don't get too eager to use your ult on that fleeing target if the fight is still going on (provided it's not already a resounding win), because they'll still need your autoattacks. 6) Infinity Edge first, not bloodthirster. You don't need the insane sustain early because of the range advantage, and poking someone with crits before they can get close is very effective. I honestly feel Caitlyn is a great carry, one of my favourites. Her range, traps, and net gives her a certain dominance in lane and fights if pulled off correctly.
Caitlyn was balanced for when the meta was still AD carry mid. She has medium but unavoidable poke with her long range, but in botlane against a support with some sustain she is pretty much useless and even against no sustain supports she just gets countered by some lifesteal after a few levels. Also the bushes in botlane make it easier to deal with her long range.
if he farmed his q and burst another ap carry then he could easily have more burst
let's say both have 21/0/9, with ap/level glyphs Both have DFG, Rabadons, Voidstaff, hourglass, a hard defensive item (banshee's or GA or something), and sorcs. That gives both 80+140+70+100+18(masteries)+27.54(runes)+5%+30% or (80+140+70+100+18+27.54)*(1+.3+.05)=588 ap giving le blanc a single target burst of 1317 + 2211 = 3528 + DFG and veigar without q farm a single target burst of 1080 + 1646 = 2726 + DFG + .8*their AP veigar would need 286 stacks from q to equal le blanc's burst, as he gets 2.8 per ap scaling, dividing the damage difference by the total scaling on his AP would give the amount of bonus needed. Now, counting the DFG: 25+23.52=48.52% of their health, giving le blanc a final burst before magic resistance of: 3528+48.52% of their max HP And veigar 2726+48.52%+2.8*(q farm)+(4% of q farm) 3528+48.52% 2726+48.52%+2.8*(q farm)+(4% of q farm for their max HP) then it depends on the target's hp. Canceling out, you find that LB's burst is 802, with veigar's being 2.8*q + (4% of hp per 100q) or 802=2.8Q+.04*(q/100)*HP 802=2.8Q+.0004Q*HP I put this into wolfram alpha -> http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=802%3D2.8X%2B.0004X*Y And it shows that LB and Veigar will have the same burst if veigar has: 200Q stacks and the enemy has 3025HP 250Q stacks and the enemy has 1020HP And, the normal amount of stacks per game for me, 150, if the enemy has 6367HP, then veigar's burst will equal le blanc's. NOW: replying to your query about the enemy mage: This is discounting the AP bonus on his ult, but if you were to count it, with 0 q stacks, the enemy would need 1003 AP to make veigar's burst be equal, but to relate the enemy max HP, their AP, and veigar's Q farm would be a bit wonkey. Here is the wolfram alpha page depicting the relationship though. X= q farm, Y=hp, and Z=enemy AP http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=802%3D2.8X%2B.0004X*Y%2B.8*Z
why would you even bother to type all that seriously
why would you even bother to type all that seriously
I am off of work today Also for a tl;dr with 212 AP from Q farm veigar will burst more than le blanc starting at 588 AP from items, below that it depends on the enemy max health as deathfire will do more damage for veigar I said 286 in the big post but that wasn't counting the 5% ap mastery bonus and the 30% ap rabadon's bonus But you most likely won't make it to 212 ap from q farm anyway. Then again you don't make it to a full build usually anyway
tl;dr
i can't trust your credibility after 'LeBlanc can 100-0 a late game tank' Sure, that looks great on paper. Good luck doing that in an actual game.
i can't trust your credibility after 'LeBlanc can 100-0 a late game tank'
There aren't any full tanks in LoL, only tank DPS'ers but yeah that was an exaggeration Also you completely missed the point of what I wrote
There aren't any full tanks in LoL, only tank DPS'ers but yeah that was an exaggeration Also you completely missed the point of what I wrote
Fair enough, I'm just an asshole anyways.

guys how is irelia now with all the nerfs
guys how is irelia now with all the nerfs
Still Irelia. That is, strong.
still very viable
guys how is irelia now with all the nerfs
Her last changes were buffs. She's still very strong again, but you'll retain the weak early game.
this should be entertaining, watching this match for sure.
fun fact: hyperbolic paraboloids are the same shapes as pringles chips
fun fact: Pringles aren't technically classified as chips, but as "crisps" by the USFDA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pringles basically food is stupid
wow, that was quick. match starts and "report ezreal for trolling"
I can't even imagine what it'd be like to face pre-nerf (all of them) Irelia. Not sure I want to.
