How useful is Yorick after the laning phase? In teamfights and shit.

if you ult your friendly carry then its gg, 6v5 with 2 ad carries and yorick does shit loads of damage and is tanky as hell, idk wtf you are talking about

not late game all he's good for is his ult later

His whole purpose is making top hell a living hell for the opponent, in teamfights he'll just hop around like a retarded bunny.

Yorick shuts down the top laner 95% of the time, and can also destroy the AD carry in teamfights, AND ult the AD carry on your side. He brings a lot more to the table than some people think in my opinion.

Generally, someone needs to take a shot at them before they'll die without doing some form of damage, whittling stuff down. That, combined with how highly spammable they are and the damage reduction AND boost they give to Yorick, means they do contribute. Plus Yorick can be hard as nails to peel off someone if he's determined.

You don't wait to use your ult like most people think you use it immediately and rape face with two teemo's, vayne's, tristana (whatever your best autoattacker is).

If Yorick has any idea what he's doing he's still annoying as fuck in the lategame. Maybe not as much as Blitz or Alistar, but ghouls fucing everywhere and he's bashing your carries with his shovel and he refuses to die easily.

Mordekaiser with Sunfire Cape. Burning, whirling shrapnel. 120 magic damage per second. Delicious. Probably decent if you wanna be a dick and also die even less.
