I just don't like how her ult is instant. The damage is applied the instant she drops it on the ground. Not the knockup, but as soon as it's dropped. There is no way to block it.

It only damages you when the thorns reach you, unless your sitting in the middle of it its not completly instant. By that logic, malphite ult is impossible to block since he comes out of nowhere too

You don't deserve the fb money because you just killed a champion that has one of these passives and didn't take into account that they had this passive

Kogmaw has to run at you and Zyra has a skillshot with a 2 second delay from when you fire it, they are fairly easy to avoid if you have any escapes or flash or ghost, the passive is supposed to be a last stand type of thing where they get off 1 final blow before dying, you instantly get the kill with champions like karthus and yorick because they become a ghost

Hate Riot so much right now. They insist on arguing against the community about trivial things such as Lux's ult name, instead of just giving in and making them happy. Community has so many good arguments on its side while Riot really has none, but their response is basically "fuck off, we're changing the name anyway."

Whether you think it's dumb or not, it's bad business and unprofessional for Riot to treat the situation the way they are. It'd be even more professional to just ignore them, as opposed to arguing with them.

Pretty much. This is blown entirely out of proportion over the name of an ability that was already, as RIOT said, pretty ridiculous to pronounce and apparently some reference or some shit I didn't even know that.

I don't actually hate them, just disappointed in their recent "not caring for what the community thinks" in any regard or situation. The forum post about Riot removing the old Legendary skins got 2k+ negative ratings, and they argued against the community about it.

I'll get over it, because yeah it's not a big deal. I just don't like seeing a reference (things that gives LoL its charm) be simply removed.

Yeah but it's Riot's reason to change the name that pissed me off.
They think that Infinite Light would be a better name because it explain the spell more, but imo Infinite Light makes me feel like that the spell can shoot across the map like a global ability and not just a big laser that you can shoot from your tower to their tower in lane.
