compared to akali who's classed as an assassin, she has a slightly higher base hp at 18 by like 50 but a much lower hp regen (+0.16 per level compared to akali's +0.65) and like 2 more armour than akali at 18
Akali has higher lvl 1 hp and armour but slightly lower base hp regen
The only thing making diana significantly more tanky is the fact she has a shield that can be refreshed in a single use so it's a 0.6 to 1.2 ap shield, whereas akali just has a ton of bonus mr and armour whilst standing in her shroud
edit: I don't want to compare damage because akali has significantly lower cooldowns but I'm just gonna assume they do roughly the same damage and can burst a champion down from full pretty fuckin fast just going on their scaling

Why is she underrated again?
Edit: Also I'd like to see a champion whose abilities centered around mimicry and taking abilities from other champions. Kind of like Rubick, but every ability involves changing and stealing stuff.

Most Squishy AP carry against an AD assasin. You might be able to abuse your range for a bit but at level 6 you'll get Flash -> Combo instagibbed.

yes its not good on bad/decent dravens but it really boosts damage when you manage to hold your positioning while catching all the axes

Except I don't play lux like a retard and I reserve my snare for defending against his combo and ganks, and lux's shield blocks a LOT of damage

Even if you snare it's like 14 seconds until you can snare again and he'll just kill you when it's down, if he jumps on you then you're dead and you can't shield because you're silenced
Also shield doesn't block much of talons damage, if you shield before he silences you he's going to get his damage out before your shield comes back and if you max out shield then you're never going to have the damage to trade with him

She's underrated because she has no innate sustain ability. This is apparently a requirement for a Top Lane bruiser, though Poppy is more an Anti-Carry than a Bruiser.

She's an Anti-Carry and a damned good one. She's fast and tough, crushes someone against the wall and destroys them. All while being immune to harass from anyone else.
Lee sin is such a beast, 10/0 in the first 15 minutes or so.
Shame about his late game drop off.

And that in itself is what is her weakness.
Sure, if she does well top lane and keeps up she can be scary, BUT if she falls behind her kit basically sets her up to die.
Her abilities revolve around charging into the enemy to seperate the carry and killing it, but if she is for whatever reason doing poorly (countered, or maybe just jungle camping top) she will be forced to charge into the teamfight underfed and thus do very poorly. Also these days every champion has some kind of dash or cc in their kits, so the instant her ult goes down she is pretty much screwed if her team didnt take proper advantage of it.
This is the reason why other tops are preferred as they dont have to rely on teammates as much to survive and also their abilities dont force them to kamikaze charge.
I am not saying she can't be viable or even scary, it just seems her kit is high risk/high reward and you could do the same damage with safer tops.

What? Catching his axes does not proc trinity force or sheen. You only proc trinity force / sheen when you ACTIVATE the axe, W E and R.
The only time he becomes spammy is when you're chasing which means you're always hitting your steroid. And besides that, he has a rather low base attack damage.

and anyways, I don't see the logic in trying so damn hard to make abilitynames "understandable".
all you have to do is cast it once, and you can see the skill indicator to tell it's long range, and reading the caption you see it does lots of damage.
They should've just called Darius's grab like "grab in an area"

this is what everyone is missing. They're changing it because its a german name. They're not doing it specifically because its German, but because it's a reference that the user has to google to fully appreciate.
Yes, there are loads of other abilities that are references to other games, but not a single one is anywhere close to Lux's ult's name and why it was changed. Some are references, sure, but because they're in English [i]you have to actually get the reference to realise its a reference[/i]. No other [b]ABILITY NAME[/b] (I know some things in the game are references most players will see as references and not get. I know that.) is like that.
If you then go on at me "Oh Papaya, they're still complaining because it shows riot don't listen to the community wah", consider the following: One, someone would have had to complain first before riot had anything to not listen to. Two, the forum and r/leagueoflegends are NOT any majority of the community. Even then, some people in both communities welcome the change. Third, it's a fucking ability name for christ's sake. It's not like a skin, where the entire team sees it in the loading screen. It's not changing what the laser looks like, it's only changing the name of the ability and what the USER sees for a split second when they cast it.
this is just the community pretending they have a reason to bitch at riot.
also infinite light is 90% cooler than finales funkeln
