It was a Sheen for quite some time. I didn't want to build Rabaddons because Veigar and I wouldn't be able to afford a Negatron Cloak. Liche Bane added a bit of MR and some AP, so why not go for it? I don't play Fizz often mind you, I'm sure this build isn't optimal.

I am wrong, it normally does less damage but my point is that the AP proc from just lichbane is less than the sheen proc.

If you rush it. He said he didn't. That being said, I love seeing anyone who rushes a Lich Bane. I know I'm gonna get fed very soon.

40 more damage? Even if you got Lich bane at LVL1, you'd deal 27 more damage. When you hit lvl9, you actually deal more damage with sheen than with Lich Bane. [editline]7th August 2012[/editline] So get Sheen and don't make Lich Bane until you get Deathcap

It scales off of AP, and if that's the only AP item you have, you'll only have around 100 AP, which is barely more damage than a Sheen was giving you. He's more of an assassin burst and most of the time he'll get the kill without needing to slow them. That being said, Rod of Ages is situational on him, I've always felt.

Yeah, idk i havent played fizz in forever, last time was when fisherman fizz came out. So i dont really remember how i used to build him i just know rylais, rabadons, lich bane.

I don't even own Fizz. I just know how he works because my friend mains him and whenever we need a win he plays him. And math in League is pretty simple.

Surprised that nobody has recommended DFG, it gives you everything you need on fizz and builds out of a gp5

I thought it was pretty common that DFG was a situational item that no one should build unless the enemy team is stacking health, has a mundo/volleyball, etc.

There's no point in getting lich bane before stacking AP it's like getting crit damage before stacking crit chance

i always get DFG on veigar other than that i dont really buy it
